Some of the Best Makeup and Beauty Gift Sets I’m Hauling from QVC

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

QVC is always the perfect spot for snagging great makeup and beauty gift sets at super prices! I do a lot of my bath, body, and skincare set hauls there during the Holidays (for myself mostly….!).

In recent years, I think QVC sort of slowed down their makeup and beauty roll. Some of their sets aren’t as good a deal as they used to be or the sets are fewer and less than in recent years. I’m actually surprised by this considering the beauty industry is on a bubble at the moment. You’d think more brands would start putting together gift sets and turning to the Q to sell them! But that’s actually not the case at all. It’s sort of odd that the situation is reversed as when the industry was doing a lot better, QVC was the spot to head to snag a deal! Now that the industry is doing a little poorer and the market is saturated so heavily with sales happen daily it seems to have become a little harder to snag a good deal on QVC.

But….!

The Holiday season is here (whether you are or aren’t ready for it! I’m still trying to wrap my head around the fact that Fall has just been rushed away completely in stores!) and although not as plentiful as years past, QVC still has a killer deal or two on makeup and beauty gift sets. QVC makes it easy to shop from their site as well due to their easy pay options that will charge you a small amount each month versus paying the full amount in one go. It sort of works out as a little beauty mortgage as I call it!

Here are a few I’m considering hauling or have hauled already (plus many beauty items ship free or for $3 at QVC.com)

Tarte Passport to Paradise Holiday Collector’s Set $45 or 6 Easy Pays of $7.50
I briefly discussed Tarte’s exclusive Passport to Paradise Set yesterday. As with Sephora and Ulta, QVC has always been gotten exclusive gift sets and palettes! QVC at one point had more Tarte Gift Set options available than Sephora or Ulta and what a value they were! Things have changed dramatically though and Tarte isn’t as readily available as it once was on QVC! But this gift set is available at the Q. It includes a 15-pan Eyeshadow Palette as well as a deluxe Amazonian Clay Blush, deluxe Sex Kitten Eyeliner, deluxe Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara, and a deluxe Tartetist Glossy Lip Paint!

Mally Evercolor Shadow Stick Extra 8 Piece Collection $56.96 or 6 Easy Pays of $9.49
I discussed this set yesterday as well! It’s a selection of eight full-size cream eyeshadow sticks which works out to a killer deal to say the least! I love these and think the formula is as creamy and pigmented as Laura Mercier’s shadow sticks!

Skinfix Lip Kit $19.94
It’s back! And as awesome as ever! Skinfix launched this six piece set last year at Ulta and I loved it to say the least! It includes six full-size lip balms in fun Holiday flavors! I also got two other sets last year and ended up splitting them up as stocking stuffers for my friends and sister!

You get:

  • Flavor-Free Lip Repair Balm
  • Pumpkin Cheesecake Lip Repair Balm
  • Black Cherry Pie Lip Repair Balm
  • Sparkling Berry Lip Repair Balm
  • Cinnamon Swirl Lip Repair Balm
  • Candy Cane Lip Repair Balm

Philosophy Sweet and Luxurious Layering Kit $61 or 6 Easy Pays of $10.19
I got the latest Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere Perfume a few months ago and loved it! It’s warm, spicy, slightly sweet, and oh so lovely! A 2 oz bottle is $40 which makes this set a great deal as you get a 2 oz perfume but also a matching 32 oz Shampoo, Shower Gel, and Bubble Bath as well as an 8 oz Body Souffle all in the yummy Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere fragrance!

It Cosmetics Special Edition IT Girl Holiday Beauty Book $49.98 or 6 Easy Pays of $8.33
I actually hauled this one recently (hope to have a review up soon)! I tend to like the It Holiday Palettes a lot and this one did appeal with it’s warmer shades of shadow and pretty pop of blush! It’s a nice travel palette as well as it holds three different concealer shades, bronzer, setting powder, blush, three lipsticks, nine different shadows, Superhero Liner, and more!

Bare Minerals Gen Nude Lip Vault 20 Piece Set $107
This is by far one of the best bangs for your buck! 20 full-size lipglosses and lipsticks for $107! That’s less than $6 per item! A killer deal!

Bare Minerals barePro Eyeshadow Stick 5 Piece Collection $48 or 4 Easy Pays of $12.00
I knew a few of you already hauled these and like the formula! barePro Longwear Eyeshadow Sticks aren’t even available as of yet and I’m not sure if they will be (maybe Spring 2019?) but this set includes five full-size creamy shadow sticks for you to try out!

Mally Disney’s Frozen 7-piece Collection $49.98
Mally’s Frozen Collection is still available for Holiday 2018! Two sets launched last year but this one is still available if you have a Disney fan girl or guy in your life! The set includes two full-size Evercolor Shadow Sticks, a full-size eyeliner, full-size mascara, full-size Blush and Highlighter Wand, a lipgloss, and a limited edition Elsa Mirror! P.S. I was at Disneyland last week and the palace is Frozen Over 🙂

Philosophy Taste of Sweet Souffle Collection $68 or 6 Easy Pays of $11.33
I actually tend to buy sets like this and split them into colorful Christmas bags or boxes and use them as small gifts for my mail girl or neighbors, etc…! They are nice to have on hand for unexpected gifting or small stocking stuffers. This set though I sort of want for myself! It includes 8 x 4 oz Body Souffles in festive Holiday fragrances like Pink Chocolate Macaroon, Cinnamon Chai, and Marzipan Dreams as well as my personal favorite Sugar Plum Fairy! And unlike Philosophy’s Shower Gel, these do have a nice lingering fragrance!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I totally agree about QVC. They were once a great place to shop skincare and cosmetics. Since the HSN merger and their beauty channel, which I don’t entirely understand, I stopped watching and buying. I used to buy many things on auto-delivery. Now I’m down to the super-sized IT CC cream.

OMG thank you! I don’t get their beauty channel either. Do I need a rocket scientist degree to understand it!? I’m not really sure what they are doing with that. It’s hard to follow! At first it sounded brilliant but after I was like, wait, what? It’s dumb! I used to do a lot of AD as well plus many of the gift sets were great now you really gotta dig hard for stuff. They have some nice sets this season but NOT nearly what was available five or so years ago!
