Covergirl Her Majesty Collection Features Some Game of Throne-Like Eyeshadow Palettes

Reign, Revolution, Overthrown, and Ascension are new, limited edition eyeshadow palettes from the Covergirl Her Majesty Collection that launched at Walmart on April 8th. Pretty Game of Thrones of Covergirl don’t you think? Everyone is cashing in on Game of Thrones season’s end it seems like (I’m still trying to find those damn Game of Thrones Oreos for my viewing party on Sunday)!

I actually don’t visit Walmart all that much but a reader told me about the Covergirl Her Majesty Collection and I hopped my way over there to see if I could find them. Sadly, no luck but walmart.com does have them available so that might be the path I take to try out some of these as they do look beautiful!

Covergirl launched each of the 12 shade eyeshadow palettes in four different color selections that cover quite a wide variety of colors from softer pastels to vibrant jewel tones. They do appear to have the TruNaked Eyeshadow Palette slurry formula that I personally love so much!

Jump ahead to view the other shade selections in this collection!

Pretty cool right? It seems like they are going for an indirect Game of Thrones nod here! Hell, some of the colors represent some of the Houses better than Urban Decay did in their official Game of Thrones Eyeshadow Palette! Imagine they’ll sell fairly fast so you might want to see if your local stores has them available or purchase them online.

What do you think of the Covergirl Her Majesty Collection?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I have 2 boxes of Oreos, which have been my only GOT purchase thus far… Hey, it’s SOMETHING, so hey. $65 palette or $2.99 box of cookies. Maybe I’ll set the spare box up on my vanity.

LOL I love you! I’m coming over with a few bottles of milk!

Beware of Walmart.com’s shipping. When Flower Beauty first came out, I was in a hurry to get my hands on the goodies, so I placed an order. The eyeshadow palette wasn’t properly packaged and was one fine mess when it arrived. (Target’s just as bad; I’ve had eyeshadow palettes arrive in bits both at home and shipped to the store.)

:-/ Target is the worst! They one palette in a huge box with no padding! They do not take any care at all with shipping!

These look promising. I’m curious to see how pigmented the blues and purples are and the wine color. Those always tend to be a letdown. I’ll wait until you get your hands on them before I start searching for them.

I just picked up 3 out of the 4! I couldn’t resist. And you nailed it with the GoT reference. I thought they were for that initially, def felt the vibes
The only one I didn’t grab was red revolution one that had a lot of warm colors I wouldn’t like or wear. My closet Walmart only had 3 of each palette. They were 14.97 but not sure how much actual product is in each
They’re super cute but I will say I think a lot of the colors are from the repackaged quads with existing colors and maybe some new ones. I haven’t used or swatched mine yet but if you guys want real pics and close ups let me know!

Looks like a couple of these are flying off the Walmart website, so if anyone wants them, move fast. I’ll be passing as I just spent some decent cash on Colour Pop stuff.

These actually look pretty good. I love the colour themes, although I am not a GOT fan. It’s good to see the brand take a lot of care with their packaging too – very sumptious for Covergirl.
I hope these eyeshadows are good.

Have you seen the remake of the GoT title sequence entirely made of Oreos? Marketing genius!

Game of Thrones Oreos are at my Target in Mechanicsville, VA. Sorry it won’t do you much good, Muse, but maybe a Target near you may have them?
