Ready for Summer? Flower Beauty Suns Blazing Shimmer & Shade Eyeshadow Palette will get you there fast my dear friends. This playful, delightful palette contains ten matte and shimmer eyeshadows and looks a heck of a lot like Tarte’s Adelaine Morin Eye & Cheek Palette in terms of shade selections plus it’s a bit cheaper at $16.99 compared to $39!

So, if you like buttery yellows, blazing coppers, and some sandy Summer shades the Flower Beauty Suns Blazing Shimmer & Shade Eyeshadow Palette will be a pleasant little purchase for you!

Here’s my thoughts!

Flower Beauty Suns Blazing Shimmer & Shade Eyeshadow Palette isn’t technically a new palette but this is my first try out with it. I’ve been sitting on it for a while and when Tarte launched their recently collaboration I was like, “Hey! That looks like something I already own”. This thought combined with the fact I’m slowing deactivating winter hibernation mode and I decided to haul it out a earlier this month and start wearing it!

The palette contains ten shades in coppers, sparkly, butter yellows, browns, cranberries, and an assortment of sizzling Summer shades. It comes in a fairly nice plastic compact with a blending brush that’s actually really handy! You know how sometimes you get those useless brushes in a palette? This is actually really nicely made. Soft bristles, no shedding, and blends these shadows nicely! In the back of the palette there’s a handy guide for creating three looks.

I love this palette. It’s bold, it’s fun, it’s pigmented! A lot of people are over nudes and this palette does contain them but it also contains quite a few bolder, vibrant pops of yellow and copper. The colors are all so vibrant and pretty for Summer looks.

The palette contains is dominated by mattes and you get six total with the other four shades being shimmers. I was a little concerned about how mattes were in the palette but as I don’t really like working with bolder matte shades but they are actually fairly easy to apply plus the shimmers do even things out if you want to accent your look with those. The mattes are dense yet soft but not powdery nor dry and apply and blend well. The shimmers are dense as well but easy to apply and blend! Although, they do have a bit of fall out. All the shades are very pigmented!

I had a lot of fun with this one and I think it’ll be a nice little palette I’ll reach for often come Summer. If you’re tired of all the nudes and naturals lately but not completely done with them this palette gets you a few along with some very pretty pops of vibrant colors!

I’d use it as a Yes, Please extension palette. It IS fun; the swatches are lovely; groovy you in sunny yellow.

Those yellows and oranges look hella awesome on you!!! I would have run away if I hadn’t seen this on you and now I will have to put this on my list of wants/needs.

Those sunny yellows are reminding me of the Lemonade palette by Maybelline. This palette looks like Lemonade and UD Naked Heat had a baby. How would you say this compares to Lemonade?

    • Isabella Muse

Lemonade was sadly sheerer this has a lot more pigment. The colors in Lemonade were also a little different as that contained few warmer coppery shades and more pinks! The yellows are along the same lines but way more pigmented in this palette! There’s also a few shades like UD Naked Heat for sure!

How does the shades compare to Colourpop Yes please palette. Thanks Muse.

There are a lot of shades that look the same. The palettes follow the same color scheme!
