Sephora #LipStories Lipsticks Are $5.60 and As Awesome As Ever

I decided that during the Sephora 20% Spring Beauty Event that I’d haul some new shades of Sephora Lipstories Lipsticks because they are still totally awesome and at $5.60 why the hell shouldn’t I get some more shades (regularly $7 each).

I tried these little lipsticks out when the originally launched if you recall my review was pretty raving! The shade I reviewed was Matinee which I’m wearing below!

Recently, Sephora released a new range of #Lipstories for Spring/Summer 2019 called Destinations. Sadly, none of them were available in store when I headed in last week but I did manage to grab a few other shades shades! One of which I’ve had my eye on for a while which was Oui! Oui is one of those dusky nude pinks that has a my lips but better appearance. The formula is uber creamy, lightly hydrating, and quite pigmented! I mean for under six dollars this lippie feels quite high-end! Gotta love a beauty budget purchase that actually works out brilliantly!

Sephora #LipStories Lipstick om Oui

Sephora #Lipstories Lipsticks are available now at Sephora.com. Use HEYROUGE to snag an extra 20% Off if you’re a Rouge Member! And if you’re not? They are still super cheap at $7 each and well worth a haul!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I looked and looked, and the dolts had put the small display of the new lipstories right at the front of the checkout line. How dumb is that? Everyone behind you getting cross; Are you in line or not? Or what? You feel guilty looking, much less hand swatching. I got 2. Decent. Some consumer reviewers have noted that you should check the numbers, because some of these are actually reissues you may have already.

I didn’t see them there either! I normally pick through those little bins and displays as I wait in line but no luck! OH REALLY?? Thanks for the heads up!

Ulta does the same thing! I hate those displays up front, I want to take time and look. People behind you getting all huffy lol.

omg… I read the shade you first tested was “manatee”…. Gotta put some eyedrops in, obviously… Sheesh!

I got five of these as a sample once and was so impressed. Had NO idea they were so cheap! Sephora’s products seem to always be solid. I can’t ever get over the “store brand” hump, though. Wah!

i know what you mean about “store brand” i have the same hang up! Sephora can be hit or miss for me. When they get something right they REALLY get it right but when they get it wrong oh lawd…! ;-D these are all right! ;-D
