NARS Free Lover Cheek Palette for Holiday 2019

I’m waffling on a purchase of the NARS Free Lover Cheek Palette for Holiday 2019 that’s launching during the Sephora Holiday 2019 Rouge Preview September 14th. Do I need it? Do I not need it? It’s just all that bright coral and orange draws me in and I feel like I need it.

Also, Loves Me Blush is in this palette! Ummm! Hells yes I need a backup! NARS launched Loves Me last year with the NARS x Erdem Summer 2018 Collection and I fell in love with it. It’s such a gorgeous strawberry red with a faint hint of fine gold shimmer. I’m wearing it below!

NARS Loves Me Blush

Some very small, logical part of me is saying, “You don’t another blush palette” but the devil on my shoulder is saying, “Yes you freaking do!”

Shades:

  • Final Cut (peach coral)
  • Amour (matte rose pink)
  • Luster (sheer golden apricot)
  • Crave (matte bright coral)
  • Loves Me (strawberry pink with golden shimmer)
  • Highlighting Powder in Disco Nights (opal)

The palette is $59 and each blush is 0.14 oz in size. NARS Blushes are typically $30 (at the risk of sounding like my father, I remember when NARS Blushes were $25) and 0.16 oz each so you’re getting a nice bit of blush here for the price!

I think I’m going to snag this one. I will say one thing though! It looks a little dry in promo images and I sure hope I’m wrong about this.

NARS Free Lover Cheek Palette for Holiday 2019 arrives September 14th for Rouge Members and will be available for everyone else September 16th.

Will you purchasing it?

I love blush like nobody’s business and while I also live for NARS anything.. I hate blush paleo and I’d rather just spend money on one blush single I know I’ll use..

OMG NARS is killin’ me! I should just direct deposit my paycheck into their account LOL

Good morning, Isabell. Do you know if this is going to be exclusive to Sephora? I have 5000+ points to spend at Ulta, so I’m hoping it arrives there also. Thanks.

Good Morning Cheryl! It says on Sephora’s site it is exclusive and limited edition. Ulta might just get their own version though with other shades. I see that happen a lot with Ulta versus Sephora.

Sigh….I just got the Nars Exposed palette delivered yesterday. And now this drops. Dang, it’s gorgeous. Maybe if it’s still around during the holidays I can use some gift money. But since I have the Tarteist Pro Glow, Smashbox Cali Contour, NARSissist Cheek Studio, and countless single blushes I’m not quite sure I *really* need this. But “need” is so subjective….LOL

I was also a little wiry about it being a dry formula, but honestly it’s so beautiful and has the perfect tones that I’m okay with it! Lol
