Lush Once Upon a Time Body Lotion Smells Like Fairy Tales

4 stars out of 5

Lush Once Upon a Time Body Lotion is a new, lightweight body lotion that launched with the Lush Christmas 2019 Collection and fans of So White are going to be quite happy about this one! I was disappointed with Snowflake Body Lotion but Lush Once Upon a Time Body Lotion gets a Muse Approval!

It’s gorgeous.

Lush’s Christmas Collection has some keepers this year! But that sucks because it makes you want to stock up on all your favorites so you’ll never be without them! But the problem is that Lush products have an expiration date. Sad sigh! Oh well! We can hope that Once Upon a Time Body Lotion returns next year because I do so love it.

Based off the scent of the So White Bath Bomb, Once Upon a Time Body Lotion smells like sweet, slightly tart apples. To me I always have a vision of Snow White taking that first big bite of the juicy red apple that the Evil Queen presented to her when I smell this scent. It’s apples, it’s apples blossoms, it’s gorgeous! I reminds me of a Fall day and walking through an orchard getting ready to pick that perfect apple from the very top of the tree. It’s a very pretty scent with a long, lingering throw. I apply this after my morning shower and the scent is still on well after I come home at the end of the night!

It absorbs easily into skin and has a creamier texture and thankfully wasn’t sticky and tacky they way Snowflake Body Lotion was.

All in all, this was delightful and smelled beautiful!

Well worth a pick up if you love So White or just love apple scents!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. [heart eyes!] Will have to check it out. I had a fancy green apple lotion I loved as a tween and I am imagining this might be the savvy adult version to trip down memory lane. I went to look at Boo! but I chickened out on the purchase. It was so concentrated looking, I was just picturing a destroyed dingy tub. The sales assistant told me over and over it was seaweed not charcoal and wouldn’t settle in but our weird plastic tub surface has issues with even regular looking products. Once bitten, twice shy LUSH! I don’t buy the really pigmented stuff anymore.
