5 stars out of 5

Stila Strategy Beauty Boss Lipgloss is one of a few new shades that launched with the Stila Summer 2020 Collection. I gotta admit in April when I posted about Stila’s Summer Collection it felt like literally ages away but now here we are and Summer is almost over. How did the time fly so quickly?

I sure am glad I got Stila Strategy Beauty Boss Lip Gloss because it’s a great nude shade that doesn’t give me a case of zombie lips! I swear finding a good nude gloss seems impossible sometimes as many of them make me look like rigormortis set in or zombie lips! As always, say what you want about Kim Kardashian but that girl sure knows how to rock a nude lip! It’s just something I really struggle with! I do know when I find a nude lipgloss or lipstick that works for me I hoard it away! Strategy might be a hoarder!

I fell in love with Stila Beauty Boss Lipgloss last year but at the time there weren’t enough cream only shades! The collection included a ton of sparkly, shimmer finishes but only one cream! That shade was Win Win and it was a really pretty my lips but better shade.

Stila Beauty Boss Lipgloss (0.11 oz) has a flat applicator for application and arrives in an elegant square barrel with off gold cap and accents. At the time when I originally reviewed this formula I had said I’d love to see more cream finishes as many of the finishes were sparkle or shimmer! Obviously Stila was listening as they released a few different shades for Spring and one was Strategy which is another great cream finish! This is a warm milky nude and I was slightly concerned it would give me a bad case of zombie lips but the color isn’t pigmented enough to do so. It applies sheerer but there’s just enough of nude here to accent my lips and give them a glossy, natural nude look without a lot of effort. It’s a really gorgeous shade that should pair well with a nude eye look!

The formula is hydrating, creamy, easy to apply, very smooth, and super shiny. It doesn’t adhere to my drier lips and has a very even appearance with a wear of about four hours and a light sweet vanilla-like flavor. it feels very moisturizing on my lips which is always a plus when it comes to gloss!

I love this formula! It really has all the elements of an excellent gloss! Moisture, creaminess, super shiny finish, no tackiness, no stickiness, it’s a keeper!

Stila Strategy Beauty Boss Lip Gloss is available now.

Stila Beauty Boss Lipgloss is available in 12 shades which are $15 each and 0.11 oz in size. This formula comes in shimmer and cream finishes although, from what I’ve seen from the range the only cream shade is the one I purchased called Win-Win. I loved this gloss! It’s pigmented, glossy, lightly hydrating, comfortable to wear, and leaves my lips with gorgeous color and shine that wears for a nice five hours. It isn’t tacky nor sticky and has a nice creamy texture that applies easily with a smooth, even finish!

Pros

  • Glossy and hydrating!
  • Wears easily without being tacky nor sticky!
  • Smooth, even color.
  • Great shade.

Cons

  • No issues cons here!

Nice! I avoid the nude lip as well because I can never find a shade or formula that works for me.
