NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop All Day Mattifying Powder Sold Out Status Boggles My Mind

NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop All Day Mattifying Powder is completely sold out at ulta.com and this boggles my mind. Can’t Stop Won’t Stop All Day Mattifying Powder is a new all day matte powder that contains oil-absorbing rice powder and is available in 12 shades. It’s a pretty simple powder in my eyes. Just sheer coverage that you can use alone or over your favorite foundation to extend the wear while keeping oil and shine at bay.

It’s not something we need at the moment as there are literally dozens of powders on the market and all of them pretty much do the same exact thing. My theory? That NYX is piggie backing off of the sudden success of LOreal Infallible 24HR Fresh Wear Foundation In A Powder. As you may know I wrote an article a few weeks about about the power of Tiktok Marketing. It’s absolutely fascinating to see this evolve. Over the course of the last few months marketing has exploded on Tiktok and creators are selling everything from cranberry juice to makeup at a crazy turn around rate. LOreal Infallible 24HR Fresh Wear Foundation In A Powder is not a new product by any means but it exploded over night after a few different creators spoke about it and BAM it was instantly disappearing from shelves at Target and online.

Just when you thought the beauty bubble broken has broken a new social platform offers a revival for many brands desperately seeking a new outlet for sales and a brand new audience for their products. So yeah, NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop All Day Mattifying Powder probably isn’t anything special. I’m sorry NYX! I had to say it. But since it’s been discussed and featured in Tiktok videos it is now in a sold out status at ulta.com.
My brain exploded.

I think in the blogging world and even in the youTube world this powder would be a really hard sell right now. If I featured it, loved it, and recommended it some of you might be tempted to buy it but many of you would probably comment and say, “But muse…we already have dozens of powders just like this!” And I think that sort of feedback would be seen across many platforms but on Tiktok it’s a completely different world. It’s an entirely new audience that hasn’t been as overly exposed to beauty as many of us here on blogs and via youTube.

Pretty interesting isn’t it?

Do I need NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop All Day Mattifying Powder? No. Not only because I have dry skin but also, because I HAVE dozens of powders that do the same exact thing. But most importantly, I’m not so easily swayed By fancy marketing and influencers telling me I absolutely need to try this. We all seen the exceptional success KVD Good Apple Skin-Perfecting Hydrating Foundation Balm did thanks to Tiktok but in reality, we all knew how badly it was! Some of us found out the hard way!

What about you?

Does the fact that something simple like an oil absorbing powder selling out this quickly sort of boggle your mind?

Is the beauty world going to see an uptick?

No uptick, but i think the cos, esp like Nyx and MUR will not give up their models of vast choices before the model really hits the skids. Both those cos are notorious for being second on the bandwagon, so not surprised at all. I think the hella scope of choices will have to wind down eventually. Think about historical Nyx lipstick choices. New formulas every season, with far less discontinued. Literally 100s of picks. For me, choosing is tough, even when you can see them IRL. I give up.

I wonder if it’s different for you since you are blessed with lovely, clear skin that doesn’t turn into a grease fryer 2 hours into the day. I have always struggled with icky oily skin so I tend to desperately try anything new and exciting that promises to make me look like a normal person and fall prey to marketing and hype around anything that promises to be “mattifying.” That being said, I agree with you, this is probably nothing new and probably doesn’t work better than anything else. Will I try it? Sadly, it is probable and then it will join the cosmetic graveyard of Broken Promises.

Honestly, you’re prob right. For me, concealer is my excitement level. I always get super excited about concealers promising to make my eyes look brighter and my bags to disappear! So I can how powder can be very exciting for anyone that suffers with oil or shine. LOL the cosmetic graveyard of broken promises! I have one of those too haha!

I think you are so right. I am not on Tiktok, but the bigger trends make it to YT, IG, OnlyFans, Twitter, etc. The TikTok crowd is really different; Creative, politically/socially active and AGRESSIVE. They want what they want and move to get it. As a parent of someone this new generation, I’m proud of them.

This is very true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don’t have kids but I can see why you are proud as this may very well be the generation that brings about change!
