4 stars out of 5

Wet n Wild Passion Session Blushlighter Duo ($5) is one of four, limited edition scented blush and highlighter duos that launched with the Wet n Wild Wild Crush Collection. This is basically the Wet n Wild MegaGlo Blushlighter but with a new packaging color and new shade range! if you like the MegaGlo Blushlighter there’s no doubt you’ll enjoy these limited edition Blushlighter Duos as well!

Let’s take a look at my review and swatches below!

Wet n Wild went a little fun with this launch and created four shade ranges that are all scented different! Passion Session has a subtle citrus-y and passionfruit fragrance that you really had to stick your nose into the pan in to smell it.

As I said above this is pretty much the Blushlighter Duo but in a new packaging that’s lilac in color. I originally purchased my Blushlighters for $6.49 at Harmons but this one set me back $5 and holds the same amount as the original which is 0.35 oz. Each pan is split down the middle and contains a highlighter and a blush which can be used mixed together, separately, or applied one at a time.

The shade Passion Session has a bright matte orange blush and a light golden highlighter. In my swatches, I swatches both the blush and highlighter together and as you can see the highlighter takes the harsher orange of the blush and creates a pretty orange-y apricot hue.

This formula is pretty powder but they blend together nicely and have a soft, silky texture that applies smoothly without clinging to my drier skin. The wear is around six hours before fading. I really liked this shade and felt like the addition of a matte shade paired up with a more shimmery highlighter created a nice luminous glow on my cheeks.

Overall, the Wet n Wild Passion Session Blushlighter Duo is worth a pick up of you enjoy peachy or orange blushes!

Where to buy

Wet n Wild Target

Wet n Wild Passion Session Blushlighter Duo is a new, limited edition passionfruit and citrus scented blush and highlighter duo that’s $5 and 0.35 oz in size. It’s pretty much the same formula as the original Wet n Wild MegaGlo Blushlighter but in new packaging and shades. The scent is very subtle and I didn’t feel like it would be an issue for sensitive users. The color is is a bright, bold, warm orange matte blush paired up with a light golden sparkly highlighter! Combined the two shades created a very pretty orange-y apricot glow on my cheeks. The texture is soft and silky with a bit of powdery kick up but application was beautiful with a seamless glow and flush of color on my cheeks that wore for six hours!

Pros

  • Inexpensive.
  • Very pretty shade.
  • Gorgeous glow and color.

Cons

  • Contains fragrance (very subtle though).

Who

Pretty! I was waiting for your review. I did a Target pick up over the weekend but just got the honey setting mist.

No, it’s not. Less scented that the MAC Fix+ scented ones. I was somewhat sad.

aww! Glad I didn’t get them! I was tempted just because they were scented but the alcohol had me like ughhhh!
