I Think I’m Re-Entering My CC and BB Cream Era Here Are a Few I Want To Try

For a while, CC and BB Creams were a key part of my foundation routine. I was obsessed with all the Korean formulas and I loved how much coverage they provided while remaining lightweight and natural. But a few years ago I ran across Makeup Revolution Conceal & Hydrate Foundation and it’s become my ride-or-die formula. A few months ago I ended up hauling Tarte Shape Tape Cloud CC Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Sunscreen and a little of my love for CC Creams returned! After that Erborian CC Crème and Dermablend CC Cream stepped into my life and I was pretty much back on the “I love CC and BB Cream” bandwagon. I think I’m re-entering my CC and BB Cream Era. This Summer, will be a return to natural, lightweight coverage.

Here are a few CC and BB Creams I want to try and will be adding to my cart shortly. Let me know if you’ve tried them and if I should!

Hey Honey Trick and Treat CC² Active Propolis Color Correcting Cream With Broad Spectrum SPF 45 $27
This one’s on sale so I probably won’t be waiting long to try it! First off, we gotta love anything that has “Trick or Treat” in the name am I right? But seriously, Hey Honey doesn’t get nearly the credit it deserves as some of their skincare is pretty darn great. This formula is a self-adjusting, color-correcting formula available in a few shades that contains honey for moisture as well an SPF 45. As well as Bee Proplis, Vitamin E, and Amino Acid Proline.

Burt’s Bees BB Cream with SPF 15 $15.99
I didn’t get the memo that Burt’s Bees had a BB Cream. Who knew? Available in three shades is a lightweight formula that provides a sheer layer of color to perfect skin. The reviews are hit or miss but I want to try it anyway!

Kiko Skin Trainer CC Blur $22.99
Kiko fan girl here which means, of course, I need to grab their CC Cream! This color-correcting formula is lightweight, and natural, and gives skin a sheer layer of radiant coverage.

Exuviance Skin Caring BB Fluid Face SPF 50 PA++++ $46
Ok, I see you Exuviance with your high level of sun protection! Available in one shade this lightly hydrating fluid with a universal, invisible tint that protects skin as it evens out your complexion’s tone.

Erborian CC Water $45
I love the BB Cream so next up gotta try the CC! This water-based formula is a gel texture that’s designed to hydrate skin which means it’ll be perfect for drier skin girls and guys like me!

Pacifica Ultra CC Cream Radiant Foundation With 100% Physical Broad Spectrum SPF 17 $18 (Buy 1, Get 1 40% Off All Pacifica)
A very lightweight CC Cream that color-corrects and hydrates skin with coconut and kelp!

Are you still in love with CC and BB Creams? Which ones? Do you think we can maybe make them go viral again? I’m sort of wanting to try out some new ones!

Yes, I am falling in love with J & K beauty again and BB & CC creams. I just reached for my Dr. Jart BB cream and forgot how good it was. I also love Missha M Perfect Cover BB. It is on Amazon but I also found it at Marshalls recently and I like it better than Dr. Jart which is far more expensive. You may want to give the Missah a try too.

Oh I’ve tried the Missha! It’s def lovely 😀 I saw a lot of it at TJMaxx recently too! I’m falling back into my old J&K beauty ways too! Especially skincare! I forgot how much I love it 😀

FYI, I didn’t care for the Kiko CC Blur at all. It feels like nothing but silicones and my face felt dry as a potato chip wearing it. If I mixed it in with my moisturizer, it was sort of acceptable but barely. Full disclosure; I’m 64 and have dry skin, but not like the Sahara. I’ve read your blog for at least 10 years and feel like it won’t be to your liking, based on your moisture preferences. Also, the coverage is pretty dang light. I’ll be interested in your review!

oops maybe no review after hearing this as I’m super dry and I def can’t take any more dryness! Thanks, you saved me money!
