Concealer and Foundation Recommendations to Pick Up During the Sephora Spring Sale
You know I’m a total concealer h0r but lately I’ve been really into serum, liquid, and lightweight foundations as well. I’ve never in my life liked a dewy-look because I have a fuller face and I always feel dewy makes my face look fuller but I lost a few pounds and I think it shows in my face a little tiny bit and now I suddenly feel a little more confident doing a more dewy look. Not glowy mind you just dewy. I’ve been busy stocking up on a variety of really lightweight foundations for this reason as I tend to load up on really moisturizing skincare that I’ll wear under my foundation to get that glazed look. This is one reason those Kaja Jelly Charm Glazed Lip Stain & Blush With Keychains are an obsession for me. They give me just that touch of dewy color that makes my skin pop!
Anyway, here are a few different concealers and foundations I’m loving at the moment or have loved in the past. Let me know what foundations and concealers you plan to haul at the Sephora sale.
Rose Inc Skin Enhance Luminous Skin Tint Serum Foundation
This isn’t a formula everyone loves but I adore Chanel Les Beiges Water Fresh Tint and this reminds me of it on a bit of a cheaper scale. It’s a very weightless, sheer, serum-like consistency that doesn’t provide a ton of coverage but does create that my skin but better finish. It contains some fantastic hydrating ingredients as well like HA and Squalane! If you like sheer, weightless coverage for the warmer weather this is one to try!
Tower 28 Beauty SunnyDays SPF 30 Tinted Sunscreen Foundation
Ok, so this is actually in my cart now. I have not officially tried it but Tower 28 rocks the socks off of releases and this one caught my eye! It’s a lightweight SPF 30 that promises medium coverage. I’m not here for the SPF but I love the idea of lightweight yet pigmented courage!
ILIA Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 Foundation
I have been a chronic naysayer of tinted foundation facial oils and this does fall into that category in my opinion. But as I said above, dewy is my jam lately, and this stuff brings dewy. This just leaves my skin looking so healthy, so dewy, and just so youthful! I love it. Not for oily skin but if you’re dry this one will get you nice and hydrated.
Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Positive Light Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 20 Sunscreen
Again, I’m not here for the sunscreen (it’s too damn low anyway but Selena nails it with this lightweight, pigmented tinted moisturizer. This is crazy light, provides enough pigment to hide minor flaws, and makes skin look bright and happy. Love this one!
Iconic London Super Smoother Blurring Skin Tint
Oops sorry another one that made it on the list that I haven’t tried again! But Iconic London has been brewing up a new skin tint I want to try that lightweight, hydrating, and looks natural. Yes, please.
Too Faced Born This Way Healthy Glow Spf 30 Moisturizing Skin Tint
Too Faced heard my ravings about this and sent over a few bottles for me to try and yeah, this is a keeper. This isn’t really a skin tint, this stuff is def foundation just on a lighter front. I love Born This Way Foundation and this just takes that great formula and puts it in a lighter, more hydrating formula. I love this stuff and I think it’ll be one I reach for often this Summer. +
MERIT The Minimalist Perfecting Complexion Foundation and Concealer Stick
Let me take you back for a second….to Benefit Playsticks Gosh I loved those things. They really were my gateway drug into the world of swipe and go foundation. I love a good foundation stick and Merit’s are pretty darn delightful. This multitasking stick can be used as foundation or concealer (I don’t recommend it under eyes! It feels to dry to me) and just has a smooth, creamy easy to blend formula that looks surprisingly natural and wonderful on my dry skin!
Dior BACKSTAGE Face & Body Foundation
Dior Backstage is a that one person at the party does sticks around and doesn’t leave when it’s time to go home. This stuff just stays forever and ever and ever no matter the weather, the time….they call it Backstage for a reason! It just stays put and wears like a champion! Perfect for a model’s day on the runway! If you need pigmented, weightless, light, and long-wearing this is your girl right here.
Kaja Cat Nap Under Eye Brightener
People are going ape sh*t over Maybelline’s Pink Age Rewind Concealer at the moment. But Cat Nap is where it’s at. This peachy pink brighter will make you look like you got ten hours of shut eye instead of four.

You better prep! And if you do you’ll be rewarded with super duper pigmented coverage that makes your eyes look AMAZING. This stuff rivals Shape Tape in the pigment department but it def requires a good deal of moisture before application for the best and smoothest coverage. If you need serious coverage this is the one for you!

ONE/SIZE by Patrick Starrr Turn Up the Base Butter Silk Concealer
I may or may not be guilty of doing something I never do…using concealer on my face! Butter in the name is butter in the formula peeps! This formula is literal butter. It’s so creamy and delicious. I do in fact use this as a foundation and I feel no remorse about that It works under eyes as well but as a foundation, WOW!
Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Face and Under-Eye Concealer
This is one of those concealers that sort of flies under the radar. Not a lot of people talk about it, it’s sort of expensive, and it sort of has a reputation of, “eh, Armani has a concealer but they do so and so product better”. I feel like Armani isn’t a brand well known for concealer ya know? But this stuff is literal silk…It’s very light, very creamy, but the real magic is the fact it never settles into lines. That in itself makes it awesome!
Huda #FauxFilter Luminous Matte Buildable Coverage Crease Proof ConcealerI love Huda’s concealers but she’s one with formulas you gotta really prep for. FauxFilter is def a great one for the brand but be prepared to prep for this one and if you do the rewards of smooth, brightening coverages will be yours!
