Why Is No One Talking About the Fact Sephora Takes Forever To Ship Something
Sephora’s slow shipping is killing me lately! Why is no one talking about the fact it takes forever to ship something? My best friend texted me last night and she was all like, “By the way, why does Sephora take forever to ship?” And I had an epiphany! She’s right! I placed an order on April 24th and it still hasn’t arrived and the one I did on April 18th arrived on April 28th! Ouch!
Ok, so, we do have to give them a little room for slowness since the Sephora Spring Savings Event probably made things a bit slower but as I recall I placed an order end of January that took nearly two weeks to get. Sephora is either really, really popular right now and busy packing orders or they are just extra slow shipping stuff. I’m sadly an instant gratification type of girl and my store doesn’t always have the latest and greatest goodies plus online shopping is just way more convenient but I haven’t seen slow shipping like this since my first order with Amazon in 1995.
All my orders have arrived via Lasership lately so, that might be why. Thankfully, my experiences with Lasership hasn’t been as horrifying as some people have had but I do know they take a while to actually ship anything.
I guess I shouldn’t complain too much as we are entering an era where free shipping comes with a higher threshold or isn’t offered at all. I imagine shipping items on their dime can be pretty costly for both smaller and larger businesses. The good news is this may force people back into stores and save a lot of jobs in the process as everyone wants it NOW NOW NOW not next week!
