Sol de Janeiro Bikini Season Perfume Mist Review
Sol de Janeiro Bikini Season Perfume Mist is one of three new, limited edition Summer 2023 scents that launched a week or so ago! I already reviewed Do Not Disturb and When in Rio already and both of those are top on my list but Bikini Season is prob my least favorite of the three.
Let’s take a look!
Sol de Janeiro Bikini Season Perfume Mist is 3.04 oz in size and $24. These scents are sadly not available in larger sizes. I hope next year if they do another round they end up releasing them in a larger size and also, perhaps do a selection of body creams to go along with them! I find that Sol de Janeiro’s fragrances are either too weak or my body chemistry is just eating them up because without a matching cream they last a very, very short time on me.
Sol de Janeiro Bikini Season Perfume Mist is a sweet fruity fragrance with notes of guava nectar, sunlit orchid, and coconut water. I don’t really like guava all that much and that’s pretty much the dominant note in this scent. The dry-down is supposed to have a pink musk and vanilla but I end up with guava and the unusual mix of floral notes.
Sol de Janeiro excels at creating some very unique tropical fragrances but sadly, Bikini Season isn’t one. This just doesn’t do it for me! I love sweet, fruity scents and this definitely contains sweet, fruity notes but I think the twist of florals just doesn’t compliment the sweetness or the fruit.
If Sol de Janeiro Bikini Season Perfume Mist interests you I would say don’t blind buy! This one needs a sniff in store.
