Winxy Lux Sunset Glow Ombre Blush ($20) is a matte, shimmer, and satin ombre blended blush that acts as both a blush and highlighter in one swipe. I love ombre blushes I think that love dates back to when MAC launched their gorgeous Ombre Blush Collection! Also, a lot of the Ombre Blushes we see nowadays make it so easy to get a blush and a glow in one step which is something I don’t excel at. What I mean to say is I can apply blush fine (sort of! sometimes I go overboard!) but I don’t always do a great job with highlighter! I tend to be pretty heavy-handed with highlighter or I place it in the wrong area. I have chubby cheeks and I feel like I don’t have that sharp cheek bone angle all the influencers do that apply highlighter with a quick flick of a brush. I always end up looking a discoball after application! These ombre blushes are a quick swirl and done for a gorgeous glow that looks like a pro applied it. Sadly, my selfie in this review doesn’t do this product justice as the pretty golden sheen finish isn’t very easy to see in my photo. But I promise it’s there!

Let’s take a look!

Winxy Lux Sunset Glow Ombre Blush is now available in two shades. I didn’t even know about the second shade until very recently. I have the shade Sunset but there is also a second shade that called Pink Lemonade! I obviously need to grab that soon! This little blush is $20 and 0.29 oz in size. It comes in a very pretty box with warm pops of orange, coral, and yellow flowers. The compact is a lightweight but very attractive gold mirrored with a very, very generously sized mirror inside. It does not come with a blush but I tend to misplace small brushes anyway and prefer using my own blush brush for application. It’s obviously made of plastic but it has a very elegant look and the mirror inside is brilliant for touch ups of your gloss or lipstick (or your blush).

The blush is stunning. It has a gorgeous light golden shade of highlighter with very fine golden sparkle. No worries, the sparkle doesn’t show up on your face! It just gives this pretty glow to the blush side of the palette. The blush is delicious! I’m a lover of anything coral or peach! And this shade is a stunningly vibrant coral. Perfect for Summer. It’s matte in finish but some of the gold sparkle can be seen in the powder. In my swatches I tried to give you an idea how the shades looked separately and swirled together. From left to right you’ll see the colors blended together follows by the blush and highlighter swiped alone. Unfortunately, I wasn’t really able to get a good blended picture of the two shades together but I promise they look great when blended together.

The blush is a bit dense and almost dry in consistency particularly the coral part with the highlighter being a bit more powdery. This didn’t hinder application for me. I was able to swirl the shades and apply them with ease and without any patchy issues that are known when dealing with drier blushes and powders. I got a nice, smooth finish with no problems having the blush adhere to drier areas on my face. The blush wears quite long at around eight hours however, the glow it gives off fades at around hour six. As I said above, my photo doesn’t do the blush justice. It gives off the prettiest lit from within glow on my cheeks and the vibrancy of the coral shade of blush is the perfect compliment to that golden radiant finish!

Overall, Winxy Lux Sunset Glow Ombre Blush is a lovely little gem of a blush and a must have for those that love coral shades not to mention such an easy way to highlight and add color to your face with one swirl. This one is a keeper.
