Brace yourself! Tatcha is releasing a Cleansing Balm in a few short days! The new Tatcha The Indigo Cleansing Balm Moisturizing Makeup Remover is a gentle cleansing balm created with sensitive skin in mind. Wait, does this mean it’s unscented?! And P.S. I don’t see fragrance in the ingredients list! Yasss! This new formula is contains Japanese Indigo Extract that sooths irisations and cleansing lipids that remove makeup and restore moisture is indeed fragrance-free!

I absolutely love Tatcha and I think their signature fragrance is very nice but for some reason I DON’T love it in my skincare. It feels like a fragrance that would be great in a spa-like body care but doesn’t work for me in skincare. I’m quite happy the new Indigo Cleansing Balm Moisturizing Makeup Remover is fragrance-free! The formula is also free of mineral oil if it’s an ingredients you avoid.

This comes in a 1.9 oz jar for $38 so quite expensive compared to competitive and beloved brands like Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm at 3.8 oz for $38. I realize Tatcha is considerably more luxury than Clinique but damn, I sort of wish this was much bigger. It comes with a small circular spatula to scoop product out but that still doesn’t justify that smaller size for me haha…! That being said, if the formula is amazing I might overlook the size. As with all cleansing balms this is meant to be used on dry skin. Scoop a small amount out, apply to dry skin, massage fully, add a bit of water to break it down and allow the formula to emulsify and go milky before rinsing it off.

Tatcha The Indigo Cleansing Balm Moisturizing will be available soon! Think you’ll grab it?
