Tarte Maneater Nightfall Eyeshadow Palette Isn’t Quite As Deep as The Original
Tarte Maneater Nightfall Eyeshadow Palette ($52) is now available as an early Holiday 2023 launch (or if you want you can call it a Fall 2023 one! I prefer that as not to rush the season too much). I’m not going to lie! I really liked the original After Dark Eyeshadow Palette. I thought the shades were really quite a nice selection that worked well together. Saying this is hard because lately Tarte hasn’t really captured my eye but After Dark was a nice palette launch.
Do I need Maneater Nightfall? Probably not. Only because there isn’t a lot of nightfall here…! I like me some warm, sultry shades and this is a bit more colorful. Which actually should please a lot of people considering Tarte can be all about coppers, roses, and pomegranates. Granted, this isn’t in your face vibrant but they have a few colorful blues, teals, and even purples. They say the shades have “holiday flare”! Not sure about that but if you wanted more color from Tarte the Maneater NightFall Eyeshadow Palette is bring that a little bit. Don’t forget “Holiday Flare” was tossed around with the original palette too an that sure, as heck didn’t quite give off Holiday vibes!
You can a total of 24 shades in a mix of matte, shimmer, and sheen finishes. Those shades aren’t listed in total at Ulta (Ulta commonly makes mistakes when doing a listing on their website) but a few of the shades are:

The palette is dominated by mattes (11 total) and I always personally enjoy Tarte’s matte shadows. They are powdery but soft, silky, and they apply and blend well. Also, good news! There isn’t a price raised on this launch. It’s still $52 just like the original.
