Tree Hut Apple Macchiato Shea Sugar Scrub Review
Tree Hut Apple Macchiato Shea Sugar Scrub ($10) is a new, limited edition that launched with the Tree Hut Fall Cafe Collection for Fall 2023. I’m running out of room to store my scrubs (it’s starting to get as crazy as my shower gel and hand soap collection) but I do so adore them. They are such a fun little budget option plus I love Fall so, I can’t deny myself a scrub that smells like a Macchiato especially an Apple Macchiato. Starbucks take note we need an Apple Macchiato drink please and thank you!
Fun fact, I don’t drink coffee however, on a rare occasion I will indulge in a Macchiato. It’s one of the few coffee drinks I’ll tolerate! Another fun fact, I don’t like coffee but I LOVE the smell of it and I have a ton of perfumes that smell like different coffee drinks from a variety of Indie shops. So of course I grabbed up the Tree Hut Apple Macchiato Shea Sugar Scrub when it launched at Ulta!
This is a warm, crisp spicy apple scent! The apple is very, very strong in this blend and very realistic might I add! This isn’t some weird plastic apple smell! This is a bite of a juicy, crisp Fall Apple with the warm of cinnamon in the background. It’s spicy, warming, and delightful! Sadly, the espresso is very, very soft as the apple overwhelms it a bit! I wish I could smell the espresso a bit more but the apple is still very beautiful and instantly took me to autumn when I used it.
This has the traditional squishy texture Tree Hut scrubs are known for and has serves up a nice exfoliation experience without being overly greasy or oily. I could swear Tree Hut scrubs have made my elbows the smoothest they’ve ever been in my life. This scrub does a really nice job smoothing skin without drying it out.
I wish Tree Hut Apple Macchiato Shea Sugar Scrub had a matching body butter or mist but no worries, I can pair it up with other apple and coffee scents in my stash. If you love Fall I would recommend picking this one up!
