Concealers I Brought on QVC During an 8 Hour Plane Trip

Well, I’m home and the vacation was awesome but the plane trip was too long and I had a little bit too much time on my hands and ended up purchasing a few concealers during my trip back home. I was feeling frisky and wanted to try out something new. I know I’ll go back to my HGs (holy grails) but I’m always up for trying a new concealer. I recently that I sort of love pot concealers but formulas can be hit or miss sometimes! Pot concealers are always so emollient but sometimes they crease rather badly which is why I stopped using them! But for some reason or another I started using them again recently and have been having good results. So, yeah, I guess that’s sort of what led me down the path of ordering a few new ones to try out. Well, that and the fact I was on a plane with several hours to spare and retail therapy seems like a good idea when you’re 42,000 feet in the air.

Here are a few concealers I brought on QVC during that 8 hour plane trip! Let me know if you’d like me to review them!

The first pot concealer I snagged was the Westmore Shadow Edit Magic Shadow Eraser. I got the light/medium shade selection and I’m hopeful it’ll be a lighter peach which will act to contrast darkness and brighten up the area. And I also, grabbed the Mally Stressless Concealer with Brush. I haven’t purchased Mally Beauty in ages and I read a post on Reddit recently saying all her items were out of stock on her website (which is true by the way…!) but she’s still pretty active on QVC it appears. I don’t normally get involved with her concealers as they aren’t always great for me but eh, this was on clearance so why not?

And finally, I grabbed the LWYA by Kim Gravel Gone in a Swipe Concealer and Sponge Set. I love a good stick foundation moment and stick concealer is awesome too! This looked incredibly creamy! I thought I’d use it for a quick swipe and go concealer moment! It also has a moisturizing core which should make it nice and hydrating for these drier eyes.

Did I need more concealer? Naaa…! But I’m excited to try these. What concealers have you recently purchased and are loving?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I would love to hear your thoughts on Westmore. It is a new to me brand and like their 60 Second Eye Effects.

new to me too! I’ll absolutely share my thoughts! is the 60 second eye effects like a tightening gel?

      • Fluffatu

Exactly. It is like the Peter Thomas Roth product but not as severe and I can use concealer over it, whereas the PTR one seemed to peel off.

If you can use concealer over it that’s awesome as those formulas def aren’t concealer friendly! I gotta try it next!

I hate to say it but I have no idea who she is!? but her concealer looks brilliant LOL! I can’t wait to get it and try it!
