Covergirl Halloween Outlast Lipstain is now available. As you know Covergirl recently relaunched Outlast Lipstain in a wide range of shades for Spring 2024. The original pens launched way back in 2009 and had a chubbier design this was back when Revlon Just Bitten Lipstain + Balm and Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstains were all the rage! For some reason, the early 2000s we were all obsessed with lip stains. I remember when I purchased the Bourjois Paris Lipstains. They were my entire personality back then. I loved them! I had a peach one and a pink one and I used them till they drier up. Back then, even more budget-friendly brands were doing these stains like N.Y.C. New York Color Cosmetics (a brand gone but not forgotten) and their Smooch Proof 16 Hour Lip Stain. These were $3 bucks each back in 2011! 2024 could never! Sadly, my lipstain era ended a while back ago but I’ll fondly remember loving them!

Coveriglr Outlast Lipstain has extended their collection to include seven, limited-edition shades for Halloween that are $10 each. These come in special edition packaging with fangs, witches hats, pumpkins, and spider webs decorating the pen barrels.

New shades include:

  • Extra Witchy
  • Fangtastic
  • Pumpkin Carving
  • Spider’S Web
  • Spooky Bat
  • Sweet & Corny
  • Zom-Bean

From bright yellow to bold greens and oranges this collection is the perfect selection of spooky shades to celebrate Halloween! As a Halloween lover I’m really overjoyed they did this and wish more beauty brands did Halloween stuff. I mean, sure, we always get the awesome Wet n Wild Halloween Collections but I’d love to see more mid-level brands do Halloween Collections. Also, can we take a minute and remember how fun the Halloween drugstore beauty collections used to be? I absolutely loved going to Harmons back in the day and seeing all the fun stuff they had for Halloween. It’s just not like that anymore and it’s rather sad. Everything just migrated online and stores like CVS, Walgreens, etc…don’t really carry anything special or limited-edition anymore.

As for the Covergirl Halloween Outlast Lipstain they are available now at Amazon. Do you think you want them?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I grabbed Spider’s Web and Extra Witchy a few weeks ago when CVS put them out early. I had high hopes, but they are… not great. They went on patchy even after a couple layers and the stain didn’t last worth a hot damn. Sigh. On the up side, since the stain didn’t stain they weren’t hard to remove so I didn’t have moldy zombie lips afterward!

Isabella, remember when Ulta carried Bourjois Cosmetics which was owned by Chanel! I miss them! Read that Coty acquired Bourjois in 2015. Off the subject, BUT can hardly wait for Coty to bring Marc Jacobs back out in 2025. Miss the original MJ line that Zendo made before COVID.

I don’t remember them at Ulta but I do remember them at Sephora! And I didn’t realize Chanel owned them that long! I thought it was around 2001 or so that it was sold! I’m a little skeptical about the return of MJ…! I’m concerned it won’t be formulated as great 🙁

Thank you, Isabella. Yes, I am also concerned about the return of MJ, too. Although I think that Coty has always made his fragrances? I truly miss the original Zendo line of MJ. The gel eyeliner pencils were the best. I was told at Sephora that the KVD are exactly the same, but the couple I tried aren’t. Bobbie Brown eyeliners are much better. I still have MJ eyeshadow kits and eyeliners but they are so old, I’m afraid to use them! I just can’t bear to throw them away, though. And his nail polishes were super, too! (They did get thrown away because they got thick and icky).
