4 stars out of 5

E.L.F. Squeeze Me Lip Balm ($4) is a new budget friendly moisturizing lip balm available in five flavors that launched for Summer 2023. I totally get everyone wants an affordable dupe of their favorite products but this isn’t really quite the same as Laneige Lip Glowy Balm but Squeeze Me isn’t really that formula. Laneige’s are thicker and provide a bit more moisture. That being said, they are still a great lip balm formula all themselves! No need to compare them to anything else as they stand nicely on their own two feet.

E.L.F. Squeeze Me Lip Balm is a a fairly basic lip balm that promises moisture, tint, and yummy flavor with a formula infused with Hyaluronic acid and shea butter. These are four bucks each and 0.21 oz in size. Like Laneige’s formula the flavor is very subtle and it disappears fairly quickly. That’s either going to be awesome for for sensitive users or disappointing for those of us that like flavor and fragrance in our lip products. I got peach and vanilla and both had a very subtle, yummy flavor and fragrance. They have no aftertaste and the flavor actually disappears fairly quickly. It doesn’t go bitter or gross which is nice as some flavored lip balm can have a weird taste after a few minutes into the wear.

The balms are really tiny in size and come in a small squeeze tube with a slanted tip applicator for application. They are loaded up with some moisturizing ingredients like squalane, glycerin, and shea butter. They feel a little like vaseline on lips and have a super balmy consistency that’s quite comfortable to wear but aren’t lightweight by any means. You’ll get a little bit of a shine from them as well but the tint wasn’t working on for me. Both shades I got applied transparently and Vanilla almost had a milky look on my lips until I went over it a few times with the applicator. But I didn’t notice any tint to them at all. They wear considerably long for a lip balm. I got around three hours of solid wear and during that time my lips remained pleasantly moisture and well hydrated. After use my lips felt smooth and moist.

At $4 I think E.L.F. Squeeze Me Lip Balm are a nice little lip balm that provide solid moisture to lips. These are nice to keep around when you need a little bit of shine and moisture. Sadly, the tint just isn’t there for me (maybe the other shades are more pigmented?) but I didn’t mind so much! In the end, it’s a fun little basic lip balm to keep in your purse!

All in all, E.L.F. Squeeze Me Lip Balm is worth picking up if you have drier lips or just a good moisturizing lip balm!

E.L.F. Squeeze Me Lip Balm ($4) is a new line of moisturizing lip balms. These balms are $4 each and 0.21 oz in size and come housed in a small tube with a slanted applicator. The formula is a thicker, vaseline-texture that has a hint of shine but none of the “sheer tint” advertised in marketing. I got a nice bit of shine from them but the two shades I tried applied transparently on lips with no color. They do have a light fragrance and flavor which disappears quickly after applicator. The wear is around three hours and during that time they kept my lips pleasantly hydrated and after wearing away I had lasting moisture that made my lips feel smooth.

I bought the purple one. It smells like Grape Kool-Aid, which I’m not crazy about. It leaves a very subtle berry tint, but it’s really all about the moisture. A nice lip balm to have in my purse, especially as we head into winter and chapped lip season.

I gotta admit I’d love a grape kool aid one haha 🙂 Agreed. Def nice for chapped lips!
