Fenty Skin Cherry Dub Superfine Daily Cleansing Face Scrub ($28) is a new exfoliating face scrub that has a cherry jam-like consistency with a formula that contains Barbados cherry, fruit enzymes, and caffeine that gently exfoliates and cleanses skin.
I knew I wanted this as soon as it launched because CHERRY! I feel like the beauty world (particularly the fragrance one) is really lacking in cherry flavored and scented products. We need MORE CHERRY in the beauty world.
I’ve been using Fenty Skin Cherry Dub Superfine Daily Cleansing Face Scrub since it launched and I can honestly say I’d probably re-purchase it. It’s a nice little scrub to have in the shower for my morning routine. It’s $28 and comes in a 3.5 oz squeeze tube that’s lilac in color and decorated with little cherries. There’s some iffy ingredients in here like rosemary which isn’t a great pick for skin but since it’s lower on the list I’m willing to overlook that.
It has a strawberry jam-like consistency and has a light cherry fragrance which magically disappeared once you apply it on your face. I was expecting it to not do much in the ways of exfoliating but was pleasantly surprised it has a little bit of grittiness in the mix which provides a nice scrubbing action to get rid of flaky, drier skin but without being overly harsh. I personally like using it in the shower since that jam-like texture doesn’t break down as easily as I’d like. This is supposed to foam up a bit and it does but also, it remains a bit jammy on skin which can make it a little difficult to rinse off. I like it best in the shower as I can just turn my face up to the shower spray after massing it on and it dissolves easier than splashing it on my face. It does a nice job gently exfoliating my face without creating any dryness or tightness. My duller skin looks smoother and brighter after use.

This has a light cherry fragrance that smells like cherry candy but the scent disappears as soon as you start applying it on your face. The consistency is that of a strawberry jam with very microfine grains that are slightly gritty to gently exfoliate skin. It’s a little difficult to wash off and doesn’t break down into a major lather but does create some lather and works best when used in the shower as washing it off is a bit easier. It gently exfoliated my face and didn’t leave it tight nor dry!
