It feels like ages since Lorac started promoting their Summer 2020 Collection on Instagram and it’s just now available at Ulta. I’m so sorry but I find it so annoying when brands release on their website exclusively first. It drives me bonkers for some reason. They’ve been promoting Summer 2020 for well over a month now but I was never once tempted to purchase it from their website. I dunno why but I rebel at the idea of being forced to purchase something from just one location. Maybe I want to get points for my purchase from Ulta or I just want to haul other items when I haul Lorac. I dunno what it is but the fact that so many brands do this later drives me up a wall.

When you launch please just launch it everywhere the same time, the same date, and the same products. I don’t like the Easter Egg hunt of different launch dates, different places to buy it, and exclusive parts of a collection available at one retailer but not another. It’s all too much work. Please stop.

I was interesting in the Sunset LUX Diamond Eye Gloss Trio but do I even care about purchasing it anymore?

I do my best to spread positivity around here but guess what? I’m not always positive enough about myself. My BF gets so steamed at me when I say, “Ugh I feel so ugly!” Now instead of getting mad at me he breaks into song when I say it: “Hey hey lover you don’t have to be a star! Hey hey lover I love you just the way you are!” Gotta love a dorky boy!

It’s Monday and my eyes are a bit puffy, my hair had a nice deep condition yesterday but it looks frizzy, and my skin feels dry AF. So yeah, I’m not really feeling pretty at the moment.

L’Oreal Gold Mirage Shimmering Eyeshadow and Gold Mirage Crushed Quartz Lipgloss is available today exclusively for Platinum Members at ulta.com. These kind of remind of that exclusive Walmart Collection from last year and the fact that the eyeshadows appear to have a slurry formula they also remind me of the L�Oreal x Camila Cabello Havana Collection! I’m still a little salty I missed hauling those eyeshadows! I got like one shade and loved it but never got my hands on the others!

I will say I’m always happy when L’Oreal embraced a slurry formula. I tend to enjoy this formula. It’s soft, creamy, and has a hybrid-like texture that’s powder but creamy as well much like Japanese eyeshadows.
