Maybelline Never Did Give Us a Cushion Blush But The Face Shop Moisture Cushion Blush Is Available at Avon

Did you hear that Avon now carries a variety of K-Beauty brands? Even Belif is now a major star on Avon’s website! And since Summer is here allow me to introduce you to the Face Shop Moisture Cushion Blush because Maybelline never did get us a cushion blush. You know, I was waiting so patiently for Maybelline to launch a range of Cushion Blushes at some point or even L’Oreal. Maybelline Dream Cushion Fresh Face Liquid Foundation launched in December 2016 followed by LOreal True Match Lumi Cushion Foundation. This was actually a really weird launch because drugstores ended up cashing in on the cushion trend way before counter brands did. After Maybelline and L’Oreal launched their versions their Lancome followed much, much later. Both brands have the same parent company but typically when a product launches it ends up on a counter first before the trend migrates to drugstores. That wasn’t the case with cushion makeup. Cushion Blush was just the opposite. LOreal Lucent Magique Cushion Glow Blush launched in Japan around 2016 but they never appeared in US drugstores. I felt positive Maybelline would be the first brand to launch a cushion blush but it never happened. However, Lancome Cushion Blush Subtil did happen.
Cushion blushes are kind of fun so, what are the chances they might pop back onto the radar for Summer? It’s highly unlikely but at least many different Korean brands still do them including the Face Shop.
