Becca Pop Goes the Glow Champagne Pop Face & Eye Palette ($40) is a new, limited edition palette featuring five shades of Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed that are meant to be used on eyes or face which launched with the Becca Holiday 2019 Collection. The focal point of the palette is on Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Champagne Pop which is a soft gold with pinky-peach pearls. It happens to be one of Becca’s best loved and bestselling shades. It’s also the largest shade in the palette weighing in at 0.15 oz (the other shades are half that size at 0.07 oz).

I purchased this during an early access preview from Ulta but as of now it’s available at both Ulta and Sephora for everyone!

I’m not a huge highlighter fan as you know but I do love Becca’s highlighters. I particularly like when they do highlighter and blush palettes like last year’s Holiday 2018 Apres Ski Glow Face Palette. I just feel like I get the most use out of palettes from Becca that also includes blush shades. That being said, the Becca Pop Goes the Glow Champagne Pop Face & Eye Palette does contain one shade that they dubbed a highlighter but it is more of a blush which is Berry that’s a rich, warm berry shade with a golden sheen. I do however, wish there were blush shades in the palette as I just like an even balance of highlighters and blushes because I feel I’d get more use out of the palette.

None the less, if you’re a huge highlighter fan there’s no doubt Becca Pop Goes the Glow Champagne Pop Face & Eye Palette will be one you’ll want to snag!

Too Faced Hot Buttered Rum Eyeshadow Palette ($25) is a new limited edition palette featuring six eyeshadows in coppery neutrals that launched with the Too Faced Holiday 2019 Collection. The palette is in the vein of some of the mini palettes that Too Faced has launched in the past like the Tickled Peach Eyeshadow Palette that was available with the Holiday 2018 Collection and the Sugar Cookie Eyeshadow Palette which was also part of the same collection as well as the recent Shake Your Palm Palms Eyeshadow Palette that launched for Summer 2019.

Too Faced did a round of these smaller palettes during Black Friday 2016 and you might recall me reviewing them one of which was the Too Faced Matte Chocolate Chip Eyeshadow Palette. They were a horror show sadly as he formula was just really bad. However, since that time they have improved considering. The packaging, the formula, everything has improved thankfully.

As jaded as I am when it comes to Too Faced I have to admit these mini palettes are cute and I do like them. Not only that but also, their Holiday Collection wasn’t too bad this year. So far, it’s one of my favorite mid-range launches.

That’s part of what led me to my purchase of the Too Faced Hot Buttered Rum Eyeshadow Palette.

It Cosmetics It Girl Vol. 3 Your Life-Changing Eye, Cheek & Brow Palette ($42) arrives today and other gift sets from the It Cosmetics Holiday 2019 Collection. I always look forward to the traditional It Cosmetics eye and cheek palette for the Holidays! Although simple it tends to create some truly gorgeous looks for the Holiday season without a ton of effort or no how! This year’s palette looks quite nice with an assortment of pretty taupes and cooler nudes as well as a pretty rosy blush!

The new, limited edition NARS Inferno Eyeshadow Palette for Holiday 2019 arrived today and it’s sizzling hot! Look at those reds! I’m feeling the love for this one.

Inspired by Studio 54 this palette contains twelve shades some of which are glitter. Of course, I’m going to go ahead and ask that age old question, “Are they eye safe?” I sure hope so because they look gorgeous! The high-glittery finish has a cream texture that can be used as an eyeliner or eyeshadow or as a topper to add sparkle to powder shades.
