Maybelline Super Stay Full Coverage Under-Eye Concealer ($11.99) is a new concealer that launched in 12 shade selections with a formula that promises to “instantly” wipe out dark circles courtesy the full-coverage formula.

I was pretty excited to try this formula because I’m a concealer junkie as you know but also, because they were promising full-coverage with a long wear! Yes, please. I don’t need a ton of foundation on my face as my skin is fairly smooth and blemish-free. But concealer? I need tons of it. I’m prone to puffy, baggy eyes and as I get older it seems like it gets worst not to mention lately I feel like my eyes look a bit sunken in. I rely on concealer to conceal these issues and brighten up the area so I appear more rested. I’ve been using Tarte Shape Tape since it launched and it is my go to however, I feel like the formula changed so, between that feeling and the fact I never have problems cheating on my HG products I decided to try out Maybelline Super Stay Full Coverage Under-Eye Concealer.

And I have mixed feelings.

I know it’s not beauty related but I wanted to share that Charming Charlie is closing all stores as of the end of August as I know many like the store as much as I do. 261 stores in 38 states will shut their doors as of August 31st and it appears even the online website will be done too. Charming Charlie filed for bankruptcy on July 11th and already are putting everyday on sale. Most of the online site is sold out at this point.

They originally filed for bankrupcy back in April 2018 and closed 100 stores but those efforts were not enough to cut debt so, they are not just apparently completely going out of business.

It’s pretty sad as I really like their accessories. Charming Charlie joins over 7,000 other stores that have closed in the past few years as it’s impossible for many brick-and-mortar stores to battle with online retailers.

I think the future pretty much holds absolutely no hope for malls or actual stores as everyone will be shopping online versus driving to the nearest store to pick up what they need. We are already a spoiled generation that gets everything delivered to our door from the common pizza to a full selection of groceries and everything else in between.

If you have gift cards from Charming Charlie I urge you to head to your local store and spend them while you can!

Urban Decay Stay Naked Correcting Concealer launched at Ulta.com today along with the new Stay Naked Weightless Liquid Foundation. I’m really liking all these new liquid foundation formulas lately. The natural, lightweight coverage is exactly the type of foundation I like using it! I’m not one that covered myself in foundation! A little dab is all I need to even out my complexion and ease dullness. I really like lighter liquids, cushions, or creams. I especially love anything that’s more natural looking in appearance. That seems to be where they are going with this new formula.

I’m not sure about the Urban Decay Stay Naked Correcting Concealer though it’s matte in finish but hey, I’m a massive Tarte Shape Tape fan so never say never right? Although, I have to admit All Nighter Waterproof Full-Coverage Concealer was a disappointing formula. Great pigment but the color match just wasn’t there for me plus it seemed to crack and crease under my eyes badly 🙁 I also, wasn’t a fond fan of Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer. Thus far, I don’t have a great track record with UD concealers but maybe the Stay Naked formula will be the one.

According to them it provides full coverage with 25% more pigment compared to the other concealers in the line. It’s also available in 25 shades with 5 different undertones. I’m curious if the shade range will suit be a bit better than the All Nighter one. For some reason All Nighter’s undertones seemed very, very light and pasty on me. I’m also curious to see if the finish is as forgivable as Shape Tape. Shape Tape may be matte but it super creamy! Although lately,

I’m totally in love with the I Heart Revolution Fruity Blusher and Fruity Highlighter! I want them all, k, thanks! What is it with fruity and makeup that just tickles me? These are so damn adorable. These are an little nod to the Too Faced Tutti Frutti Collection I guess!

There are two versions one is a Fruity Blusher that’s available in Peach and Strawberry and the other is a Fruity Highlighter available in Banana and Pineapple. P.S. How was your weekend? Did you survive the heat? We went to Boston for the weekend and it wasn’t as bad as the news was saying but when I got home last night holy cow! It was crazy hot! I guess I missed out on the worst of it. During the little road trip I started watching Bromance again!
