Tarte Sugar Coat Velvet Liquid Lipstick ($15) is a new liquid lipstick formula that launched with the Tarte Sugar Rush Collection in four shades. I’m not a big fan of matte, long-wearing lipsticks as we all know since I tell you this daily and I’m starting to sound like a broken record.

But from time to time a formula will come out and make me change my mind. I have to admit that formula might be Sugar Coat Velvet Liquid Lipstick!

It’s lightweight, non-drying, and fairly priced.

The Sad News Is the New Philosophy Clear Days Ahead Dark Spot Correcting Serum Contains Alcohol

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

I was pretty damn excited when I saw the new Philosophy Clear Days Ahead Dark Spot Correcting Serum ($42) launch at Ulta.com because I was such a massive fan of Philosophy’s old Miracle Worker Dark Spot Corrector which is long since gone!

It’s really nice to see it return in some variation! The new formula promises to improve discolorations and even out skin tone with a brightening “daisy flower complex”. I guess daisies contain alcohol because the second ingredient in this formula is alcohol. Damn. What a shame! The original also contains alcohol but behenyl alcohol which is a good ingredient.

I was really hopeful this would be a return of the old version in new packaging but I guess not!

Philosophy Clear Days Ahead Dark Spot Correcting Serum is $42 and available now but not sure I’ll be indulging!

3 stars out of 5

3CE Gotta Sing Slim Velvet Lip Color ($17.42) is one of five, limited edition shades that launched with the Mood for Blossom Spring 2019 Collection in March!

I’m not a big, big fan of the Slim Velvet Lip Color formula since I don’t like mattes but some of the shades that launched with Spring 2019 Collection were so pretty I couldn’t resist grabbing a shade or two especially #Gotta Sing that’s a bright, juicy tangerine!

Pat Mcgrath Labs Mini LUST Gloss Trio Gets You Not One but Three Great Lipglosses at a Great Price

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
5 stars out of 5

Pat Mcgrath Labs Mini LUST Gloss Trio ($25) is a trio of mini Lust Lipgloss shades that’s available in a warm and cool shade selections. It’s a rather nice way to try out the Lust Lipgloss formula without spending $28 on a single shade. Don’t get me wrong, Lust Lipgloss is totally worth the $28 price tag but it’s always nice to get three mini shades to check out, try out, and play with before indulging on one full-size shade.
