4 stars out of 5

I purchased the smaller, 0.34 oz dropper bottle of Farsali Skintune Blur Perfecting Primer Serum ($22-$54) last week during the Sephora sale. It’s taken me literally ages to purchase anything Farsali because I was just utterly turned off to the brand due to the constant hype on Instagram and youTube. You ever been curious about a certain brand or product but you’re just totally turned off to it when it’s shoved in your face constantly? That’s pretty much how I felt about Farsali. It was just everywhere last year! I couldn’t watch a video on youTube or log into Instagram without someone dripping Farsali serum, oil, or something another on their faces. The brand hit social media very aggressively and I’m sure it gained them a ton of exposure, followers, and sales but it did lose me in that hustle. It felt way too over hyped and for me over hyped products normally lead to major disappointment.

For some reason or another, they did finally grab my attention with the Skintune Blur Perfecting Primer Serum and Liquid Glass Radiance Serum both of which I purchased.

Here’s my review and thoughts on the Farsali Skintune Blur Perfecting Primer Serum.

The Inkey List Q10 Serum Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
5 stars out of 5

The Inkey List Q10 Serum ($6.99) is a new to the US lightweight gel serum that the brand recently launched at Sephora. As you may know the Inkey List is a newish skincare brand bred and born in the UK. It launched about six months ago in the UK and more recently it arrived on US shores and is available at sephora.com (and come soon to Sephora stores). Like the Ordinary the brand focused on creating an affordable skincare line. Lines like the Ordinary, the Inkey List, Good Molecules and Makeup Revolution’s new Revolution Skincare Collection are really taking on and destroying the democracy of higher-end skincare. They’ve just broken down all the barriers of skincare and created affordable lines that actually work and are free from fillers like fragrances. They’ve made it possible fight the signs of aging, issues with blemishes, and a host of other issues for $15 or under.

It’s pretty brilliant to have an affordable and effective ranges of skincare that actually do what they claim to do versus fancy marketing and $50+ price tags on products that promise the world but deliver very little results.

I typically test out skincare for at least a month prior to reviewing but the Inkey List Q10 Serum produced pretty visible results quickly so, I thought I’d share how it was working out for me.

Tarte Adelaine Morin Eye & Cheek Palette Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
5 stars out of 5

Tarte x Adelaine Morin Eye & Cheek Palette ($39) launched a few short weeks ago and was created in collaboration with youTuber Adelaine Morin. Yes, I’m old and had to Google who she was because I was all:

Ok, so, here’s the thing. I’m either not watching enough youTube, I’m too old, I may live under a rock, or Tarte selects youTubers no one ever heard of to do collaborations with. I’ll feel a lot better if someone steps in here and says they don’t know who Adelaine is either. Had the same issue when they did the Aspyn Ovard Eye & Cheek Palette but good news at LEAST I knew who the Grav3yard Girl was! Phew! See? Pop culture hasn’t completely eluded me!

Well, Adelaine I make major apologies for not knowing who you are but girl, props on the awesome palette! I like it! A lot! I didn’t expect to considering my track with Tarte hasn’t been good lately but you do a good job creating this with them!
