Maybelline Lip Studio Prime It Up Lip Primer review

Maybelline Lip Studio Prime It Up Multi-Benefit Lip Primer ($7.99) is a new lip primer that can be used under lipstick or gloss to intensify color and give it a longer wear. I’ve been testing out the new MAC Oh, Sweetie Lipcolour and I can’t express enough how handy Lip Studio Prime It Up Multi-Benefit Lip Primer came in during my testing process. I’m a big fan of Urban Decay Ultimate Ozone Multipurpose Primer Pencil since it does such a nice job prepping lips for lipstick and gloss. But I have to admit Maybelline’s works a treat and isn’t to bad on the wallet either ($7 bucks compared to UD’s $18 price tag). It isn’t an exact dupe by any means but it does a mighty fine job prepping lips for color.

Here’s why I loved it so much.

NYX Shimmer Down Lip Veil Review and Swatches

NYX Shimmer Down Lip Veil ($7.99) is a high shine, shimmery lipgloss that launched in eight shades for Summer 2018. I am always in awe how many lipsticks, lipgloss, and other lip items NYX has released to date. I swear that at this point NYX must have like 30 or lip products in rotation. Do they even make any other makeup!? There are legit 11 pages with 12 products per page in the lip category on that website. WTH? It’s just overkill not to mention confusing AF.

They just literally launched the new Lip Lingerie in Gloss, Shimmer, and Glitter Finishes so I relly do have to question was Shimmer Down Lip Veil really a necessary release? I get they want to stay relevant and keep fans happy by launching new products. But there has to be more to your existence than lip products.

Ok, rant over, I had to get that out.

On with the review!

I picked up the new Schick Intuition F.A.B. Razor ($9.99) which promised me that I could shave forwards and backwards. Wait, what? A razor that shaves backwards and forwards!? That’s incredible! It would cut my shaving in time! It would take the chore out shaving! Could you imagine!? You could go down one leg and come right back up it without cutting yourself.

This is surely a miracle razor.

Let’s check it out!

Skin Food Real Honey Sugar Topping Mask Review and Swatches

Skin Food Real Honey Sugar Topping Mask ($6.98) is one of four different brilliant little mask add-ons that revitalizes and hydrated drier, duller skin. This particular formula contains mature acacia honey which apparently is ideal for acne scarring or for anyone suffering from acne. I personally don’t have issues with acne but I purchased this formula for the moisture factor as I have drier, duller skin.

Now the joy of this mask is the fact it can be used as a mix-in or add on to your current favorite Skin Food Mask. Yes, it works fine all its own should you like to use it that way but I personally think it works best as an add-on.

Let’s check it out!

Here’s What Happened When I Tried Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask

Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask Review

Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask ($48) is a hydrating cream mask that addresses dry, dull skin by restoring moisture to your skin and leaving it dewy and well hydrated. According to the brand it contains Vitamin C and E as well as sodium hyaluronate along with moisturizing ceramides and antioxidants to soothe, calm, cool, and intensely hydrate stressed out, dehydrated, drier skin.

Sounds perfect for me since I suffer from duller, tired looking skin no matter what I do and more moisture is always the key to making it look lively again! Apparently, it doesn’t only hydrate but also contains ingredients to gently exfoliate your skin.

It was a little expensive at $48 for 2.25 oz but I purchased it anyway after hearing a good deal of positive feedback from people that have tried it.
