The Body Shop Lip Juicers Chia Seed-Free

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

The Body Shop Lip Juicers joins the realms of dozens of other EOS Lip Balm Sphere copy cats this Spring with three moisturizing spheres or shall we say triangles that are available in five shade selections.

I see you in the corner over there rubbing your hands in glee at the prospect of adding yet another lip balm to your collection. Oh, wait that’s probably me. No but seriously, I have to question my sanity sometimes because do I really need another lip balm in my beauty life? Well, yes, of course I do duh! Especially when they are as cute as these!

These little balms are inspired by fruit smoothies, are 100% vegan, and formulated with shea butter, marula and organic olive oil to give lips a smooth, hydrated finish. Sadly, they I don’t think they are tinted.

Flavors include:

  • Kiwi, Kale & Watermelon
  • Raspberry, Beetroot & Ginger
  • Strawberry, Pomegranate & Aloe
  • Acai, Blueberry & Dragon Fruit
  • Coconut, Passion Fruit & Carrot

I literally had a kiwi, kale, and watermelon smoothie these morning with a big helping of chia seeds. Please how do I get them to grind down? As they are always terribly crunchy no matter how long I soak them! YAK! What am I doing wrong!? These are the dramas of my life.

Anyway, The Body Shop Lip Juicers are at least chia seed-free! It’s the little things in life that make me happy.

You probably don’t need more lip balm in your life but if you’re anything like me you’re ignoring that little angel on your shoulder telling you not to buy these.

The Body Shop Lip Juicers are available now in stores and online at thebodyshop.com.

Covergirl Katy Kat Gloss Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

Covergirl Katy Kat Gloss ($7.99) is probably the cutest lipgloss you’ll run across in the makeup world at the moment. These obviously take a note from of Tony Moly’s cute cat themed items like Cat Chu Wink Lipstick and Cats Wink 3GO Mascara as let’s face it Korea definitely has a heavy influence on the US lately.

I think cat ladies and lads will go wild over these as each lipgloss is topped with an adorable cat head top. This isn’t a new idea by any means since a lot of Korea brands tend to put out packaging like this not to mention Paul & Joe is wild about cat everything however, it is new to drugstore makeup which does make it somewhat of a unique launch.

Let’s take a further look!

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with the Kiko Lip Me Lots Collection

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Kiko Lips Me Lots for Valentine’s Day 2018 arrives and brings with it the return of Lip Me Lots Lipstick which is a darling heart shaped lipstick design a la the new Guerlain KissKiss LoveLove Lipstick and Holika Holika Heartfull Glossy Lipstick.

Kiko always has something darling up their sleeves for Valentine’s Day. I’m one of those people that isn’t really into V-Day (do we really need one day to say we love each other?! We should be doing that everyday!) but I flip out over all the decorations, chocolates, and of course, beauty and makeup that launches around this time of the year. Not a lot of brands really focus on V-Day so, it always seems extra special when someone does do a product or collection launched themed around the Holiday.

Milani Instant Touch-Up Blur Stick Review, Photos, Thoughts

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

Milani Instant Touch-Up Blur Stick ($12) is a new face primer stick that has a lightweight formula which blurs the appearances of fine lines, pores, and other imperfections while prepping for makeup. This joins Milani’s permanent collection for Spring 2018 and is popping up now at drugstores like Walgreens which is where I purchased mine.

Last year, beauty stick everything was hitting the mid-range beauty world by storm with Milk Makeup leading the way with their newly launched Blur Stick.

This year, a lot of different drugstore brands are starting to embrace this trend such as Physicians Formula, St Ives, and Yes To.

I feel in love with Catrice Prime and Fine Anti-Shine Blur Stick several months ago and it’s quite an affordable pick up at $7.99 and I actually like it a lot more than Milani Instant Touch-Up Blur Stick. But it’s still nice to have a variety of cheaper options available of these priming sticks at the drugstore although at 0.18 oz for $12 it really is debatable how budget friendly this is if you’re paying full price and not waiting on a sale. But drugstore prices have been going up considerably in the last few years so, I guess the price comes as no great surprise.

Price aside let’s discuss the formula and how it works!
