Did You Know You Can Use Your Victoria’s Secret Credit Card at Bath & Body Works?

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Early last month when I was at Victoria’s Secret I heard a sales rep ask someone if they’d like to fill out for a credit card. The customer was quick to decline but the sales rep wasn’t giving up so easily and enticed the customer by saying, “You can use the Victoria’s Secret Credit Card at Bath & Body Works too!”

This comes as no great surprise considering a few year’s ago I walked into Bath & Body Works and they had a few Pink items on their shelves. I was surprised to say the least as I didn’t realize the two brands were owned by the same parent company which is L Brands. And even if I did know at the time it was still rather unusual and slightly weird to be presented with Victoria’s Secret beauty products at Bath & Body Works.

The thing is both share fairly common products. Fragrance mists, body lotions, perfumes, etc…each of the two stores carries all of these things but they still have managed to have their own distinctive lines. Victoria’s Secret in particular excels at creating perfume where as Bath & Body Works only releases a single perfume a year if we’re lucky.

None the less, each brand is very different in my opinion but I did find the cross credit card use very interesting.

Sephora Favorites The Ultimate Travel Bag Created for Summer Adventures

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

No one wants to carry around a ton of skincare when they travel which is why this Sephora Favorites The Ultimate Travel Bag ($40) is the perfect way to carry all your favorites in smaller sizes. Who I am kidding though? I totally carry around way to much skincare with me when I travel. But the airport is so strict about what you can carry on board with you and stashing in your luggage means it could potentially spill or break. I’m convinced the airlines play intense rounds of football with my bags. I travel a lot and over the course of the last several years I’ve been through so much luggage due to wheels falling off, rips in my bag, dirt, oil, and other gunk getting on my stuff, etc…and none of is due to hard travel! I blame the airport. They are just utterly reckless with my stuff.

Grrr!

If you’re one for carrying your bag on board you’re smart but limited to what you can carry! That’s why this you need this Sephora Favorites the Ultimate Travel Bag!

Wet n Wild Megalast Liquid Catsuit Liquid Eyeshadow Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
3 stars out of 5

Wet n Wild Megalast Liquid Catsuit Liquid Eyeshadow ($4.99) is a fairly new cream shimmer eyeshadow that launched with the Midnight Mermaid Collection but later became part of the brand’s permanent collection and also became available in a wider selection of shades.

These seemed like a nice, cheaper option to the Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadows that I love so much so I decided to grab a shade and try it out for size and see how I did with it. I never tried the original shades from the Midnight Mermaid Collection because none of the colors appealed to me but they have some newer shades available that are much more wearable like Cashmere Love which is a pretty smoky taupe.

Let’s take a look!

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Jelly Sheet Mask for Summer 2018

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Jelly Sheet Mask ($8) arrives today and proves expensive AF for a single use hydrogel mask. Ouch! $8!? Sheesh! None the less, there are plenty of fans of Glow Recipe Water Melon Pink Juice Moisturizer so I have no doubts they’ll want in on this new sheet mask.

This addresses dry, irritated skin and provides a cooling sensation when applied the skin. It’s actually a prep mask that’s recommended for use prior to make to calm redness, smooth, and de-puff skin with an oil-free formula that hydrates without leaving skin shiny or oily.

I WISH I had time to use a mask in the morning but I’d have to get up even earlier than my 4:30AM wake up call. Thanks but no thanks. In all seriousness, does anyone have time to sit around in a mask in the morning!? I know I don’t. I typically reserve the ritual for nightly use. But maybe if you’re headed out for the evening this could work our as a nice prep prior to makeup!

They recommend using it twice a week the only problem is that’ll set you back $16 bucks. I can get an entire box of my favorite A. by BOM Sheet Masks for $16 to $23 and that would be 5 to 10 masks per a box. But who knows maybe Glow Recipe’s formula will perform some miracle for my skin that will warrant that $8 price tag.

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Jelly Sheet Mask is available now at sephora.com.

Speaking of watermelon….! Sephora also has a watermelon sheet mask!

Sephora Watermelon After-Sun Mask ($5) actually works as an after-sun treatment mask to cool, refresh, and hydrate it after being exposed to the sun. This is a two-part mask one of which is layed on your face and the other is on placed on your décolleté. Interesting right?

Get it at Sephora.com.

Clarins Water Lip Stain Provides Long-Wearing Color for Summer Lip Looks

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

I used to be obsessed with lip stain and this new Clarins Water Lip Stain is reminding me of that obsession. Seriously, I wasn’t a gloss girl, not a lipstick one either, it was all lip stain, all the time several years ago. I liked the way lip stain gave me that just bitten look. This was wayyyyyyyyyy before lip stain became so crazy popular in Korea and the Schick Stick was a thing.

Clarins Water Lip Stain is actually matte in finish and made with a 77% water-base. Don’t worry, they promise that although matte it’s still really moisturizing and leaves your lips quite soft with a rich color pay off. Actually, the pigment is customizable since it allows you to apply a sheer wash of it or build up several coats for more intensity and pop!

Shades include:

  • Water Pink
  • Water Orange
  • Water Red
  • Water Purple

Don’t they look edible? Like grenadine in a cherry cola!

Clarins Water Lip Stain are $28 and available now at nordstrom.com with free shipping or ulta.com.

P.S. I have a brunch shirt but I feel like I need a Taco Tuesday shirt, this might do the trick:

Too silly!? Especially for someone who doesn’t technically drink! But still, it’s corny cute.

🙂
