Heads up It Girls and Guys the It Brushes for Ulta Airbrush Smoothing Foundation Brush #102 is $11 bucks today and the It Cosmetics Confidence in a Compact is $19 both ship free as well if you’re a Platinum or Diamond Member as part of today’s Ulta 21 Days of Beauty one day deal! The brush is a killer deal considering the fact that It Cosmetics make some fine brushes with super soft brushes so, at $11 bucks this is a steal. It’s a smaller paddle brush with fluffier brushes which can be used with liquid foundation, cream foundation, or BB or CC Cream. The smaller head ensures you can get around the contours of your face easily without creating a streaky finish and the fluffy bristles allow you to get that airbrushed finish.

I’m actually a huge fan of CC+ Veil Beauty Fluid Foundation and wish that would go on sale one day soon. Confidence in a Compact launches last January and quickly gathered up a cult following. This is a creamy balm with a sheerer finish in my opinion that gives skin a natural finish. I like subtle coverage so, I’m pretty much all about any product that gives it to me but I do dislike the heavy feel of cream compacts. It’s odd because most will recommend a cream compact for anyone with drier skin but I tend to avoid them as they remind me of grease paint. Confidence in a Compact is actually quite light and think compared and doesn’t have the thick, emollient texture of a cream compact which makes it a fairly pleasantly formulated foundation. I find the texture tends to sit on top of my skin though and looks a bit patchy when my skin is extra dry. I think if you have oily skin or normal skin it’ll work better. Needless to say at 50% off it’s worth a try to see if it’ll work out for you versus paying full-price at $38!

And of course, you can use the Airbrush Smoothing Foundation Brush #102 to apply it should you like!

Let me know if you haul these two!

As you know, because I’ve told you many, many times before, I have dry skin. And as someone with dry skin, I fail to see the appeal of silicone primers. I migrate towards hydrating primers that will create a smooth, well hydrated surface for my foundation to adhere to since I’m not battling oil nor larger, visible pores. What I am seeking, is as much moisture as possible so my foundation looks natural, smooth, and even. I achieve this by using a good moisturizing facial primer. Silicone primer is a bust for me since I don’t have visible pores nor any oil I’m wanting to mattify.
The exception to this rule comes in the form of Mally Poreless Face Defender. Like me, many of you, have discovered this gem of a primer and love it. If you haven’t tried it I highly urge to check it out now since it is $20 with free shipping today only (for Platinum and Diamond Members) during Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty Event (it’s normally $40).

Why is it so great? Well, I’ve reviewed it fully which you can see by clicking here but I’ll just give you a brief recap here. This is a silicone primer but it’s a solid one. It’s almost as if they melted down a silicone primer and poured it into a compact to set. The idea behind the formula is rather brilliant and works brilliantly which is pretty rare considering we run into so many unique and innovative products that seem awesome in theory but actually fail miserably. POreless Face Defender is not one. It works to smooth your skin, set your makeup, and just give you a perfect, airbrushed appearance.

Unlike regular facial primers you’ll use this as you one a setting powder, after you complete your entire makeup routine. Yes, that’s right is is applied as the last step in your routine over your makeup. You simply smooth the sponge it comes with over the balm and gently pat or smooth into onto your face. It’ll curb oil, set makeup, blur pores, and gives your makeup this perfectly smooth, airbrushed look. Even as a drIER skin user it still works for me. Whenever I use this my makeup looks so incredibly smooth and perfect plus it helps it to stick around a few extra hours.
Needless to say, I can’t rave it enough and I’m always excited when it goes on sale at Ulta.
I highly recommend getting one and trying it out for yourself

I have no regrets today after doling out $5.95 to ship Stila Coral Crush Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow which is the newest, exclusive shade the brand launched on their site today.
Honestly, it’ll be at Sephora likely anyway but I couldn’t wait. Why? Because it’s no great secret I am obsessed with the formula but most important coral? I NEED a coral shade! I just hope it isn’t as disappointing as Wanderlust which promises to be a golden pink shifting shade. Don’t fail me again Stila!

Coral Crush is a golden peach with green and pink sparkle, they had me at golden peach!
Anyway, they do have free shipping with a $50 minimum but I couldn’t find a damn thing I wanted to add to my order so, I bit the bullet and paid $6 bucks for shipping. I’ll only feel bad about this if Coral Crush turns out crappy like Wanderlust but right now I have visions of golden peacy eyes on my future.
But man, I hate paying shipping.

Becca Chocolate Geode Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter just dropped out of the sky today. Seriously though, don’t you love when some new makeup release just randomly dropped that you never heard a whisper about. Am I hanging out in the wrong places that I don’t know about these things? Or am I getting too old!?
Either way the newest Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter shade to hit the brand’s catalog today is Chocolate Geode which is quite a nice shade for WOC or darker skin tones. Chocolate Geode is a pretty rich chocolate brown with gold pearl. From images I’ve seen it looks like the shade pulls almost golden orange on deeper skin tones. If you’re headed in for a Summer tan it should be highly flattering.
