NYX Lip Lingerie Gloss, Shimmer, and Glitter finishes are now available at Ulta.com for Diamond and Platinum Reward Members. This is early access and will likely be for today only but don’t quote me.

I feel like I’ve been waiting for NYX Lip Lingerie Gloss my entire life. The original matte formula is ok but you know me I do so prefer a glossy finish which means I was first in line to scoop up some of the Lip Lingerie Gloss shades when they launched this morning on Ulta.

Along with the glossy finish there are also shimmer and glitter finishes now as well! I’m in love with the idea of a nude, glossy slightly shimmery formula in Lip Lingerie. I sure hope they turn out good. Although I was disappointed a lot of the pretty nudes from the matte release aren’t included in these new finishes. There’s a lot more grey shades and a lot less traditional nudes. But NYX promo images are typically not that great so, I’ll have to see these in person to confirm!

Ulta Diamond and Platinum Members get early access to Covergirl Melting Pout Holographic Lip Color today. Looks like the space and universe makeup trend continues with this launch of eight holographic shades. I’m actually probably one of the few people that hates holographic finishes. I just don’t feel like they are flattering on anyone. I think it was Tarte that posted a holographic lip look yesterday on their Instagram account and it just looked patchy and awful.

Thanks but no thanks.

Covergirl Melting Pout Holographic Lip Color produce a shimmering strobing effect on lips which the brand calls a “Unicorn Moment”. So, maybe space isn’t where they are headed with this. They also promise a lightweight formula with rich color and a non-sticky texture.

I’m not so sure about these colors but I can get somewhat excited about the shade Diversion maybe as it looks like a pretty coral!

All the rumors are true the Maybelline Lemonade Craze Eyeshadow Palette is available at Ulta.com. Remember when I said Lemonade was going to become a trend in the makeup world this Summer? Yellow has a good chance of becoming a very important shade as we head deeper into the Summer months ahead.

This particularly palette contains 12 shades inspired by lemonade with blendable shades of nudes, golds, and pink. Yellow isn’t exactly a user friendly shade but Maybelline did a good job pairing it up with shades that should create a very wearable eye look. For example, the hot pink paired with the yellow will create a very fresh, fun Summer look. But if that’s a bit too bold for you there are some nicer browns in the mix to set off the yellow for a tamer look. Hopefully the formula is good because Maybelline has disappointed lately in that department.
