But let’s talk about really important news right now which is the fact that they’ll be a crossover Supernatural Scooby Doo episode airing at Paleyfest (and late in March on the CW).

Dude, seriously though I think we’ve all wanted this since that meme popped up featuring an Impala and the Mystery Machine. Or maybe you’re ahem as weird as I am and read Scooby Doo and Supernatural fanfic. Don’t judge, it’s better than Wincest sometimes.

The episode will be completely animated and the J’s will be meeting Scooby and the gang while solving some interesting mystery. This can play out in so many different ways. Dean and Scooby enjoying pie together, Velma and Sam being all nerdy and techy together, Dean making the moves on Daphne, Shaggy and Cass getting baked together but really you want to see Cass loosen up a little right? Remember when he watched porn for the first time? Imagine him smoking weed for the first time.

There’s not much else known about the episode. They are shrouding it in complete secrecy! We’ll have to wait into late next month to see what goes down.

Earlier in January when news broke about the Ulta Diamond Rewards Program launched I was pretty vocal about how I expected and wanted free shipping from Ulta. I’m happy to see that they are making some effort to make my hopes a reality.

It felt surprising to me as Laura Geller isn’t a brand I’d commonly associate with collaborations of any kind, celebrity or otherwise.

You can imagine with that statement that this kit is all about the glow It contains a Laura Geller’s Hi-Def Glow Illuminator in a new shades called Tempting Topaz as well as a Color Luster Lip Gloss Hi-Def Top Coat in a new shade called Bare Topaz.

Who remembers MAC Venmous Villains Dr. Facilier Magically Cool Liquid Powder? That’s instantly what came to mind when I saw this as well as any number of Japanese and Korean cooling powders that have run through my makeup life in the last several years. Some of you will also remember when Physicians Formula launched a powder like this as well!

I’m not really sure of Hydra-Mist Set & Refresh Powder will be anything like that but I’d be curious to see if Becca is trying to revise the long dead trend.

If you’re never been privy to a “water” powder they are pretty cool. They start out as a powder but have a bit more creaminess to them once you apply them on your skin. They also have a pretty nifty cooling effect. As I said I’m not sure if Becca’s formula will be anything like that but it sure sounds like that’s where they are going with this. The ultra-fine texture, the water, and glycerin does seem to be where this is headed.

I’d be curious to see if I’m right!

If I’m going to be finagled into yet another highlighter palette it might as well be the NARS Easy Glowing Cheek Palette ($49) because it’s a beauty. Available in two shade selections NARS launched the Easy Glowing Cheek Palette exclusively at Nordstrom and it’ll be available for a limited time.

Shades include:

• Reve Sale Cheek Palette (warm gold with a pearl finish, soft pink shimmer, and metallic rose gold)
• Coucher de Soleil Cheek Palette (golden bronze shimmer, rose shimmer, and mauve shimmer)

I was kind of hoping that Coucher de Soleil might have enough pigment to also work as a blush palette of sorts.

MAC also recently launched a similiar trio of highlighters for Spring 2018 which is called the Hyper Real Glow Palette. This is also available in two shades a little cheaper at $39.50.

In the long run I’ll probably be good and not haul either even though the darker of the two looks lovely. I’m pretty much done with the highlighter thing. Sorry not sorry!
