Laura Mercier L�Amour Exotique Face Illuminator Collection is a new, limited edition highlighter palette that contains four gorgeous highlighters. This is a follow up to last year’s palette release which was wildly popular and sold out rather quickly. It contains four shades but no names are given sadly. These act to add radiance and a natural glow to skin. There’s a few cooler shades in this version as I recall last year’s being a bit on the warmer side of the fence but this shade round up is a little more balanced in the warm and cool tones it contains. The shades look very vibrant in the promo images.

I’m sort of over the highlighter trend myself but I always feel slightly tempted when I see palettes like this popup as my magpie nature loves all the shiny, glittery things!

What’s caught your eye so far during Sephora’s Early Holiday 2017 Access?

Oh by the way, how was your Friday? I saw IT last night and totally loved it. They did a great job with it. Finn Wolfhard though as Richie! Amazing! He delivered his smart ass lines so perfectly! There was so much comic relief in this film but I wasn’t at all bothered by it. It was fun to watch and I didn’t want it to end.

Now the wait until 2019 for Chapter 2. Jeez, that’s ages away.

Just what you always wanted! A palette and a planner all-in-one! The new, limited edition, Sephora Exclusive Too Faced Boss Lady Beauty Agenda contains a selection of products for your eyes, lips, and face as well as beauty agenda planner with reminder sticks and 12 step-by-steo tutorials, one for each month of the year, to create using the shades in this set as well as fun fact facts and beauty tips from Too Faced founder Jerrod Blandino.

I have to admit this is a little too bulky for me. GASP! I know I can’t believe I said that. But it’s actually a super nice gift for a younger teenager. It’s a nice way to get them started out in makeup as it contains how-to information and a ton of different products. That alone actually gives it some cute value. But for me personally? It might be a little TOO cutesy. I mean, I’m unsure how many people will want to store this as it is pretty big not to mention travel with it? That’s probably out of the question. Although, I do have an unhealthy obsession with stationary, pens, planners, so, this is totally appealing to my office supply geek nature. I’m literally sitting here like, “If they included colored gel pens with this I’d squeal!”

I’ll review it and let you know what I think.

One of the most interesting launches this morning is the new Becca Apres Ski Eyeshadow Palette for Holiday 2017. I haven’t heard a single whisper about this palette anyway which is why it comes as a shock to see it launched today at Sephora.com. It almost looks like the failed Jaclyn Hill Champagne Eyeshadow Palette was removed from shelved due to some sort of formulation issue.

The is a limited edition eyeshadow palette inspired and formulated just like Becca’s Shimmering Skin Perfector Highlighter but for eyes!

Shades: Pearl, Rose Quartz, Moonstone, Opal, Topaz, Toasted Marshmallow, and Hot Cocoa.

It’s a beautiful palette which quite a few shades I could see myself using daily plus hey, shimmer! I imagine if you wanted to you can multitask and use these on your face as well as your eyes. No rules right?
