Kiko Intense Colour Lip Kit ($10) launches in 10 gorgeous shades for Holiday 2016 and each kit includes either a matte or shiny finish Intense Colour as well as a matching lip liner. I actually didn’t purchase these sets when they launched earlier this Holiday season because as much as I’m obsessed with Kiko’s entire lipstick range, I felt like I wouldn’t use the lip liner they came with.

At the time these were $18 but they are now 50% off during Kiko’s Holiday Clearance so, if you like this review, best grab ’em before they disappear as these are only around for a limited time.

Catrice Velvet Matt Lip Cream Review & Swatches

This was provided to me by a brand for review and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post but all opinions are my own.

catrice-velvet-matt-lip-cream

Catrice Velvet Matt Lip Cream ($6.99) are a delightful creamy liquid lipstick formula enriched with Vitamin E that provides opaque color in a soft, creamy mousse-like formula that hugs lips in moisturizing color without the typical dryness from a matte finish.

As someone who really isn’t into mattes I’ve had to adjust lately because matte, well, it’s everywhere. Blush, eyeshadow, lipstick, you name it and matte everything is on the rise. But adjusting wasn’t a difficult task because more and more formulas prove to be wearable mattes. Let’s just say that matte has evolved considerably over the years.

Catrice Velvet Matt Lip Cream is proof of that.

But I digress, blush in 2016 wasn’t exactly slacking either. There were a great deal of fantastic formulas that launched which impressed me from a variety of great brands like Becca, Essence, and It Cosmetics.

Here are a few of my favorite blushes from 2016.

Urban Decay Quick Fix Hydra-Charged Complexion Prep Priming Spray Review

This was provided to me by a brand for review and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post but all opinions are my own.

urban-decay-quick-fix-hydra-charged-complexion-prep-priming-spray

Urban Decay Quick Fix Hydra-Charged Complexion Prep Priming Spray ($31) is a new post-cleanse facial mist hat promises to visibly reduce pores, brighten and smooth skin while replacing lost moisture. As a facial mist junkie I felt absolutely compelled and excited to try this but also a little wary because I disliked Urban Decay’s B6 Vitamin-Infused Complexion Prep Spray.

It’s both an interesting and disappointing product.
