Urban Decay Quick Fix Hydra-Charged Complexion Prep Priming Spray ($31) is a new post-cleanse facial mist hat promises to visibly reduce pores, brighten and smooth skin while replacing lost moisture. As a facial mist junkie I felt absolutely compelled and excited to try this but also a little wary because I disliked Urban Decay’s B6 Vitamin-Infused Complexion Prep Spray.

It’s both an interesting and disappointing product.

Aveda Tulasara Radiant Awakening Ritual ($89) is a two step skincare routine that includes Aveda Tulasara Radiant Oleation Oil as well as the Aveda Tulasara Radiant Facial Dry Brush which can be used to gently exfoliate skin as well as hydrate it.

I purchased this set back in August when it originally released and I can visibly see and feel the difference in my skin. If you have drier skin, I’d highly recommend it.

Delectable The Everything Balm Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

delectable-the-everything-balm-9

Delectable The Everything Balm is a new multi-tasking moisturizing beauty balm that can be used in any number of ways or according to Cake Beauty it can be used in 21+ different ways. I happen to be a live and die fan of Smith’s Rosebud Salve and I pretty much use that for just about everything and anything. But I’m not averse to cheating on my favorite products and I decided to do just that with the Everything Balm from Delectable by Cake Beauty.

I love, love, love products that multitask and this little tube of balm does everything and does it well.

You need it.

Urban Decay Urban Defense Complexion Primer Review & Swatches

This was provided to me by a brand for review and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post but all opinions are my own.

urban-decay-urban-defense-complexion-primer

Urban Decay Urban Defense Complexion Primer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 ($34) is one of a four new facial primers that launched with the Urban Decay Spring 2017 Collection. Urban Decay combines SPF 30 along with the benefits of a facial primer that protects, smooths, and preps skin for makeup without the white cast that SPF is known for leaving behind as this primer is crystal clear.

At a glance and a swatch, I felt like it reminded me a lot of Smashbox Photo Finish Primer which happens to be a nightmare for my skin. It’s one of the few products that upsets my skin. It just makes me feel like a bunch of tiny ants are crawling under my skin when I apply it. It’s itchy and horrible. When I saw the clear gel-like consistency of Urban Decay Urban Defense Complexion Primer I knew almost instantly I was going to hate.

Guess what?

It surprised me.
