Burt’s Bees Blush is a new 100% natural mineral blush formula that contains honey and vitamin E. The brand recently launched this blush in three permanent shade selections for the Fall 2017 season and I quickly snatched two of them up because I’ve had some pretty good success with the Burt’s Bees Makeup Collection in the past.

This is one of those formula’s that you’ll want to pick up if you’re looking for a cruelty-free and completely natural formula.

Whenever a magazine rounds up makeup and beauty that you should save or splurge on the number one item they tell you to save on is mascara. Why? Because mascara gets tossed quickly! You don’t want to buy mascara and apply it to your lashes for the next six months of your life. At best, mascara has a shelf life of two months maybe three tops. Think about it. That applicator is touching your lashes and being shoved back into a tight, wet, dark place. It’s a breeding ground for bacteria. Eye infection central.

So, remember kids, toss your mascaras often.

This is why most beauty editors will say don’t splurge on mascara because you have to toss it in two months! Why spend $20 or more bucks on a mascara you’ll be tossing?

The thing is, drugstore mascara has reached an all time pricing high. I mean some drugstore mascaras are as much as $13.99! So why, not go and splurge on a $20 from Tarte or Too Faced or any other number of mid-range brands right?

Estee Lauder and Victoria Beckham team up once again to release a selection of Fall 2017 makeup that Victoria helped create. Last year, the collection sold out in the blink of an eye but this year it appears they have plenty of stock to go around for those of wanting a chance to try it.

Like Victoria, this collection is all about effortless, elegant beauty. I like a lot of the collection because it isn’t an overwhelming one and it contains some basic products that can easily transform your eyes and face without a lot of know how. The beauty world is filled with an endless array of massive eyeshadow palettes lately as well as many “cutesy” releases from brands like Too Faced. Not that I don’t love cute in my beauty but sometimes it can be a bit too much.

Victoria’s collection pretty much takes us back to the basics with a good core collection of products that will enhance and accentuate eyes, lips, and face.
