Beautyblender Keep.It.Clean Cleans Blending Sponges and Makeup Brushes

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Need a way to cleanse your blending sponges? This new Beautyblend Keep.It.Clean ($20) kit comes with a textured cleansing mitt that fits over the palm of your hand which can be used to cleanse your sponges and makeup brushes. It also comes with a mini BeautyCleanser Solid Cleanser as well as a sample of the liquid BeautyCleanser.

The set is $20 and available now at Sephora.com.

I have to admit I never thought I’d have the need for a cleansing palette or mitt. It seems like a big giant gimmick. I have two hands, I have brush cleanser, and I have a cup. What more do I need? Pour a little cleanser into the cup, swirl my brush in it, and rinse. Simple enough right?

But honestly, these cleansing palettes and mitts are game changers. I use the Real Techniques Brush Cleansing Palette and I’m not sure how I got by without it. It has those tiny ridges that get deep into the bristles of the brush for a super deep clean.

I’m curious if the Beauty Blender version is somehow different or more beneficial for cleansing blend sponges. I typically don’t use anything but liquid cleanser to clean my sponges! It’s wet, pour some cleanser on, squeeze, wet, more cleanser, squeeze, wet, squeeze, dry. I’m always worried I’ll tear them if I scrub them over a palette.

Count me curious!

Milk Makeup Dab + Blend Applicator for Fall 2017

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

If the silicone sponge bug hasn’t bitten you yet the new Milk Makeup Dab + Blend Applicator ($14) might convince you to climb aboard this trend train. The silicone gel applicator started a few months ago with youTubers raving how easy it was to apply their makeup using one and how much better this applicatoe was because it didn’t soak up makeup like a blending sponge does.

Milk Makeup’s version comes housed in a holographic carrying pouch (because unicorns right?) and has a sparkly finish on the sponge itself. It’s a non-porous applicator so it won’t soak up your foundation the way a normal sponge would and it glides onto skin easily leaving behind smooth, even coverage. It also rinses easily with a little soap and water.

If you’re wanting to try the silicone gel sponge trend you can try out Milk Makeup Dab + Blend Applicator now as it’s available at Sephora.com.

A new Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Nude Lip Set has launched just in time for the Fall 2017 season. This is a rather fun kit that’s been done and re-done by Sephora a few times in the past year. Each season they tend to switch up the shades and brands that are featured in the set.

The six-piece set includes lipsticks and lipglosses from a variety of brands including Buxom, Kat Von D, Tarte, and more. It’s a nude themed box again (last Fall was nude as well as I recall) so, all the shades in this set are nude, natural shades. You’ll get six lip products housed in a cute little lip shaped box for $28.
