I headed over to Anthropologie really fly fast during lunch on Friday afternoon and much to my utter disappointment their in store tag sale was a bust. But there’s a cloud in the sky with silver liniing! The Anthropologie.com sale isn’t half bad! There are quite a good deal of beauty goodies to be had like Besame Cashmere Powder and a bunch of Per-fekt goodies like my favorite Lip Perfect Gel is $12 bucks!

So, if you’re looking for a chance to splurge on some sale goodies def stop by Anthropologie.com tag sale!

NYX Liquid Suede Metallic Cream Lipstick ($7.49) are a new take on NYX’s popular Liquid Suede formula. Yeah, looks like we might be headed into that matte metallic zone again. Available in 12 vibrant shade the new Liquid Suede Metallic Cream Lipsticks have a velvety-matte finish with an ultra-metallic sheen. So far, the world of matte metallics has disappointed this girl! Revlon Ultra HD Matte Metallic Lipcolor are a streaky, patchy mess and Maybelline Color Sensational Matte Metallics Lipstick are a bit better but also have faults. I’m counting on NYX to save the day but I’m thinking at some point brands have to pick a side. Are you matte or are you metallic you can’t be both!

I’d marry Shadow! He’s all muscle and brawn but has an obviously soft mushy center.

Philosophy Purity Made Simple Micellar Cleansing Water ($22 or try a smaller size for $12) arrives just in time since we were literally just discussing micellar waters a few days ago. Better later than never to this beauty trend, Philosophy! Philosophy’s new no rinse micellar water removes dirt, oil, and makeup while leaving skin hydrated and toned without the need for water or rinsing.

I’m not a fond fan of micellar water! I mean I’m cool with it in a hurry but I never feel truly clean using it. I’m a traditionalist that needs a little lather and water to feel truly clean. All that unicorn makeup trending isn’t over yet as Maybelline FaceStudio Master Fairy Highlight Illuminating Powder takes center stage with two new highlighting shades. There’s not a whole lot of special about the rainbow shade of Maybelline Fairy Highlight Illuminating Powder because well, let’s face it everyone has done it to death. Ulta, Wet n Wild, you name it and some brand has created a rainbow inspired highlighter. Honestly, the thought of Maybelline embracing the trend never crossed my mind so, it came as great surprise they did a rainbow highlighter.

But wait there’s more.

Not only did they do a rainbow highlighter shade, brace yourselves purple lovers, they also launched a shade called Exclusive Purple which as you may have guessed is purple! Is it weird I want it because it’s purple? When I was a kid and someone asked me my favorite color I’d promptly reply pink. Weird because I was quite the tom boy but my sister, my sister was always a lover of purple and I guess it rubbed off on me some because nowadays I’ll either reply with purple or peach. Yeah, I jump from one extreme to the next don’t I?

Anyway, Maybelline Fairy Highlight Illuminating Powder sure is an interesting drugstore pick. Each of these is $9.99 and available now at Ulta.com, target.com, and launching soon at drugstores.

If you got $120 to splurge the Armani Crema Nuda might capture your eye and your wallet! The BB and CC Cream trend is starting to phase out! Not for me, I’m still a BB Cream all the way but it’s not as forcefully and aggressively trending in the Western market as it was two or so years ago. The new Armani Crema Nuda apparently surpasses the CC and BB Cream formulation with this new and next level tinted cream.

It offers nude coverage, invisible correction and a formula that’s suspended in a water base that hydrates skin while providing natural coverage. This is blended with a Reviscentalis anti-aging complex that help to restore a youthful appearance while Hyaluronic acid plumps skin and helps it to retain moisture.

Armani has it available in five shade selections and I’d totally indulge but the $120 price tag is preventing me from even going there. I can’t see myself splurging that much on tinted moisturizer.

But don’t think I’m not having some sort of temporary insane moment with this in my cart but in the end I think it is safe to just say no.
