Mass hysteria on the makeup front today as Kat Von D blows up the Internet by posting a short video of her new Pastel Goth Eyeshadow Palette. What’s the inside look like? Who the hell knows but people are still trying to grasp the fact that Kat Von D’s all goth image is about to get all cute and fuzzy with soft shades of pastels for Spring 2017. Not to mention her Too Faced Better Together collaboration which also nearly broke the Internet earlier this month when it went live on the toofaced.com site with “coming soon” splashed all over it.

‘m going to cheat on my Real Techniques Brush Cleaning Palette with this $5 Cleaner Fingers Brush from the Body Shop. Dude, if you haven’t already, you have to get on board with the Real Techniques Brush Cleansing Palette. That thing is super. It really degunks brushes like a boss.

But I admit sometimes I cheat on my favorite products. Like, for example, I may have replaced my beloved Em The Great Cover Up Concealer for the last few weeks with Tarte’s Shape Tape Contour Concealer. As a makeup addict I have no loyalty, my favorites change on the drop of a dime.

I was pretty impressed with how quickly certain makeup and beauty gift sets sold out this year. Are there any makeup and beauty picks you regret not buying now that they are sold out? Sephora’s Advent Calender and Holy Sheet Mask Set are two items that sold out quickly and kind of surprised me. I didn’t think either would disappear so quickly.

If you could let me hop up on my soap box for a second I wanted to tell you a little something, something….! I find Hardwick annoying. I’m sorry. I failed you as a geek. He’s just too overwhelming sometimes. But guess what? He’s actually a really nice guy and so sweet to his fans. And he’s always telling people to be nice to each other and you know what? I couldn’t agree more.

Be nice to each other.

Not just because the Holidays are here but every single day. Which brings me to point of this post. You shouldn’t have to wait for the Holidays to do something nice but I just wanted to tell you that dog food and cat food at warehouse places like Sam’s Club are around $14 bucks a case. You’re probably headed to one of those places to pick up wrapping paper, decorations, food, or even gifts, why not pick up a case of dog or cat food (or both) and donate it to your local shelter?

And those blankets at the bottom of your closet you never use that are keeping the dust bunnies warm? Why not wash them, put them in a bag and take them with you to your local animal shelter and donate them.

Don’t have a warehouse club card? Amazon has animal food just as cheap!

While you’re overindulging in all the sales it’s a nice gesture to help out a small animal with some food and a warm blanket! They can’t tell you but believe me they’ll appreciate it.
