NARS NARSissist Cheek Studio Palette Review & Swatches

This was provided to me by a brand for review and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post but all opinions are my own.

NARS L’Amour, Toujours L’Amour Eyeshadow Palette2

The new NARS NARSissist Cheek Studio Palette ($65) is an Sephora and Sephora.com exclusive cheek, bronze, and highlight palette that includes four exclusive blush shades as well as NARS’ popular Laguna Bronzing Powder and Paloma Contour Blush.

This is a multitasking demon that addresses both highlighting, contouring, and blush all in one. It’s a very tempting offering for makeup lovers that love blush, makeup lovers embracing the contouring and highlighting trend, or those of us that just love NARS Blush. I feel like I fall into the first and last part of that prior statement. I love blush and I love NARS Blush so I fit right in here.

But I must digress and say that the NARSissist Cheek Studio Palette is better in theory than actual formula. I remember purchasing the NARS Foreplay Palette because, again, I love NARS Blush and I’m also a very big fan of NARS Orgasm. But I was terribly disappointed with that palette and I feel like the NARS NARSissist Cheek Studio Palette follows along that very same path.

Palladio Crushed Metallic Shadow Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

Palladio Crushed Metallic Eyeshadow

Palladio Crushed Metallic Shadow ($5.99) are a new eyeshadow formula available in 10 shade selections that give eyes a foiled finish with a light, creamy, highly pigmented formula. These recently popped up on Ulta.com and I grabbed up a single shade in Supernova along with the new Palladio Butter Me Up! Lip Balm.

I wasn’t so sure I’d like this formula since the Butter Me Up! formula was such a disappointment. Granted, they are two different products but I still had my doubts. I find Palladio a hit or miss situation but they did do something right with the Crushed Metallic Shadow for sure!
