Replica By The Fireplace Review

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

Replica By The Fireplace1

Replica By The Fireplace by Maison Martin Margiela is a new fragrance that recently launched along with Lipstick On that I reviewed for you in a prior post.

I tend to enjoy sweet gourmand blends but fragrances like By the Fireplace capture my attention as I tend to navigate towards warm unisex style fragrances that make me think of warm hugs from a boy. Replica fragrances are intended to evoke a certain feeling or memory when you smell them. By the Fireplace is a fragrance that’s inspired by a fireplace in midwinter. Granted, we’re still very much in Winter but the weather is more like Spring in New York. But never, next week, the temperatures will be dropping and Replica By the Fireplace will be an ideal fragrance that will evoke a warm, toasty night sitting in front of the fireplace with a loved one.

Think Bath and Body Works Marshmallow Fireside!

Pixi Hydrating Milky Serum Review

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

Pixi Hydrating Milky Serum7

Pixi Hydrating Milky Serum is one of the new Pixi Skintreats Skincare products that launched with Pixi’s Spring 2016 Collection. Pixi went all out for Spring with a launch of several brand new, permanent skincare launches that range from sleep masks to sleeping oils, cleansers, and beyond. It’s a rather extensive release that includes a lot of interesting skincare goodies. Considering Pixi has a had a good run with their Glow Tonic it only seems natural they venture deeper into the world of skincare.

I have to admit, much to my horror, one of the things that attracted me most to Pixi’s new skincare collection was the packaging. Really when it comes to skincare packaging shouldn’t matter as you just want something with solid ingredients forget the packaging…but I’m sorry, I just love the cute green bottles, they are so pretty. Ok, ’nuff said about my pretty packaging addiction.

Pixi Hydrating Milky Serum is a milky, lightweight serum that has a base of water and glycerin as well as jojoba oil and aloe vera. It promises to plump skin while hydrating it without the heavy feel of a facial oil. If you thought Josie Maran Pure Argan Milk Intensive Hydrating Treatment you wouldn’t be alone as that’s one of the first things I thought when I saw this product.

Milk Makeup Sunshine Oil Review

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

Milk Makeup Sunshine Oil3

Milk Makeup Sunshine Oil ($38) is a new all over facial and body oil that comes housed in a rather chic, portable rollerball pen which makes it not only mess-free but handy for travel. I love facial oils as much as the next girl or guy and I have drier skin so I fit right into the hydration demographic for a product like this type of product.

I loved packaging on this so I decided to give it a try.
