Farmacy Honey Potion Warming Face Mask Review

This was provided to me by a brand for review and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post but all opinions are my own.

Farmacy Honey Potion Warming Face Mask7

I had my reservations about trying Farmacy Honey Potion Warming Face Mask when I noticed the texture was in fact like sticky, gooey honey! Honestly, I’ve slathered myself in far worst things but Farmacy Honey Potion Warming Face Mask had a, shall we shall, unique consistency. Remember that scene in the Great Outdoors with John Candy when the big bear chased him?

I totally had a mental image of myself being chased by a big old bear while I was slathered in this mask! It totally didn’t go down like that thankfully but what did happen was I came out of the experience with smooth, moist skin.

Britney Spears Private Show Perfume Review

This was provided to me by a brand for review and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post but all opinions are my own.

Britney Spears Private Show Perfume

Britney Spears Private Show Perfume is an exciting new fragrance that gets added to the singer’s collection. Private Show is actually Britney’s 20th fragrance and takes its inspiration from her love of dulce de leche, white flowers, iced coffee, and dancing. Yes, I said iced coffee! I have a love of gourmand fragrances so, I knew I had to try out Private Show for myself, they had me at iced coffee.

Mind you, I’m not a coffee drinker (I’m a tea girl!) but I adore the smell of coffee and coffee drinks. Take a tour through my indie perfume collection and you’re bound to come across some very interesting coffee blends that I love and used often such as Love Potion Magickal Perfumerie’s fragrance, Gloria.

It was one of the key selling points in Britney’s new fragrance.

Let’s take a look!

Chanel No 5 L’Eau Review and Musings

This was provided to me by a brand for review but all opinions expressed are my own

Chanel No 5 L’Eau Perfume

Chanel No 5 LEau is a re-imagination of the iconic, stylish, and legendary Chanel No 5. Chanel No 5 LEau is my ideal sophisticated floral, unlike Chanel No 5, this is a more youthful and dare I say fun fragrance that captures the elegance and charm of the original juice but evokes a more youthful, lighter, and fresher feel and interpretation.

I have many, many Chanel fragrance loves. Coco Mademoiselle, Allure, Coco Noir, and I hope to add the new Boy to my list shortly, just to name a few! But one fragrance that has never captured my attention or love is the original Chanel No 5. Ask anyone the first thing that enters their mind when they think Chanel and I do imagine that the answer would be, “No 5!” It’s a fragrance that evokes the brand image and remains a piece of Chanel’s treasured history. I have tried, with all my might, to love No 5 but it’s sadly a little too strong for my tastes. But Chanel N5 LEau succeeds in capturing my attention and my heart with a much easier to wear fragrance that’s light and refreshing.

It’s a rather fitting fragrance for the younger demographic it aims to capture, the millennial generation if you will. Fragrances like Angel Muse by Thierry Mugler, Stella McCartney’s new fragrance Pop featuring Madonna’s daughter, and Dior’s Poison Girl also join this new trend. I actually love that many of these higher end brands are taking aim at a more youthful audience even though I don’t fit into that demographic. Why? Because iconic fragrances like Angel, Poison, and Chanel N5 have become easier to wear and a lot less overpowering. Like her mother before her, Lily Rose Depp is the face of Chanel N5 LEau, yet further proof that Chanel aims to target a generation of stylish millennials.

But don’t let my musings about the millennial generation veer you way from Chanel N5 LEau. Because as far as I’m concerned, the fragrance was created for folks like me who aren’t quite fans of Chanel N5 and always wanted to wear and enjoy the fragrance but also wanted it to be much more lighter and a lot less cloying. Chanel N5 LEau is for us!

New Makeup, Beauty, and Skincare You Might Need Right Now Or at Least I Need Them!

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

new makeup fall 2016

There are so many new makeup, beauty, and skincare bits and bobs that I need in my life right now. Yes, need, not want! I had to throw that in there (if you read my Dior post you’re either totally laughing right now or mentally rolling your eyes).

I’m actually being very reserved about my makeup purchases at the moment since the Holiday Collections will be popping soon but I’ve seen some items that I likely won’t be able to resist very long.

Take a look!
