The Artis Elite Mirror Oval 8 Brush ($65) is one of several, unique brushes that Artis produces. They might look familiar to you as not only are their many copycats of the brushes popping up on the market such as the Etude House My Beauty Tool Secret Brush 121 Skin, the Missha Professional Oval Makeup Brush, the Cailyn Cosmetics O! Wow Brush, the Besame Boudoir Long Hair Finishing Powder Brush, but also because Artis works with MAC a few years ago to create the Master Class Makeup Brushes.
Korea recently started producing a lot of different brushes like this as of late but it isn’t quite a trend that caught on in the US market. Artis actually cornered the market for these luxurious makeup brushes and as you can see Artis Brushes aren’t your traditional, typical makeup brush. I mean just looking at these you know there’s something special here. They sort of resemble an vintage style hair brush in appearance! I think if you presented the brush to someone who isn’t an avid makeup users and asked them what they would use it for they might not even consider as something that could be used on your face.
Aside from the visual difference of a regular makeup brushes, Artis brushes are also designed to be used different. These were developed to skim across your face without pulling at your skin. The skimming motion is an easy, smooth glide that breaks down powders and creams into a thinner consistency which results in a more flawless finish.
