Jordana Modern Matte Lipstick Review & Swatches

This was provided to me by a brand for review but all opinions expressed are my own

Jordana Modern Matte Lipstick

Oh lord where does one start with Jordana Modern Matte Lipstick ($2.99)? Jordana introduced Modern Matte Lipstick to their permanent color cosmetics collection for Spring 2015 in 12 shade selections. They market these as a “kiss your dry matte lipstick goodbye and say hello to modern matte” which implies to me they are hydrating. They also call them an all day wear formula without the typical dry lip finish that feathers and cracks.

Something got terribly lost in translation here!

Soho Disney Ariel Magical Illusion Brush Set Review

This was provided to me by a brand for review and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post but all opinions are my own.

Soho Disney Ariel Magical Illusion Brush Set

The Soho Disney Ariel Magical Illusion Brush Set ($12.99) is one of several new makeup brush and beauty tool sets that Soho has created in collaboration with Disney. Disney princesses have been showing up EVERYWHERE lately particularly on beauty items found at the drugstore.

I don’t know about you but I’m a complete child at heart and I can’t think of a single person that would could pass by a display of brushes inspired by their favorite Disney princess! This particularly set is a nod to Ariel. The packaging is too cute as the back says “Gadgets, Gizmos, and Thingamabobs for that girl who has everything!”

Too cute.

Take a look!
