Polite Society the New “Hot” Makeup Collection from Jerrod Blandino Now Available

Polite Society one of Jerod Blandino’s new upcoming brands brewed up in his new beauty incubator, Toy Box Brands. Polite Society arrives today at ulta.com and includes a small range of products that according to reports should be “clean” and “eco-friendly”.

Jerod sold Too Faced for 1.45 Billion Dollars back in 2016 and recently stepped down from his role at the company last year. Since that time Jerrod’s obviously been busy creating his Toy Box Brands incubator and we’re seeing the fruition of his work with the launch of Polite Society.

The brand promises a clean formula that’s free from:

  • Parabens
  • Mineral Oils
  • D5 (Decamethylcyclopentasiloxane)
  • Cruelty
  • Alcohol (except cocktails)
  • Fragrance
  • PEG
  • Trolls
  • Nanoparticles
  • Paraffins
  • Bigotry
  • Gluten
  • Silicone

It’s also vegan, cruelty-free and PETA Approved.

I’m not really sure how I feel about Polite Society. For me, the beauty bubble has broken however, I’ve come to realize that’s only for me (and perhaps a few others) because the industry is still a billion dollar one and there is still money to be had. Launches like this feel tired to me and I can’t help but think, “Another beauty brand?” but my age has a lot to contribute to that and I have to remind myself there are still younger women and men who are just starting to get into make and finding the magic in it and something like Polite Society may be something very exciting for them.

Polite Society is a small collection that consists of four makeup pieces. This makes me wonder if they are just casually testing the market at the moment to see how well the brand performs or if the brand is just an infant and they are busy behind the scenes creating new items.

I find myself not interested in the launch at all. The one item that seems somewhat interesting is the Go Flush Yourself Blush & Glow Face Palette but at $39 I think I could probably do better in the way of a blush palette!

But this is all my opinion! Who knows you (or someone else) may just love this new makeup brand! Here’s your first look at Polite Society!

Victoria’s Secret Fall 2023 Flavored Lipgloss

I remember when I collected Bath & Body Works, Victoria’s Secret, and Philosophy Lipglosses like Pokemon! It was a good time in my beauty life. With Fall coming soon I felt a little nostalgic when I saw the new Victoria’s Secret Fall 2023 Flavored Lipgloss.

There are three Fall flavors to choose from:

  • Toffee Biscotti
  • Chai Latte
  • Peach Meringue

I’m not going to love Peach Meringue and Toffee Biscotti are too tempting! These are $9.99 each or you can buy any two and get one free. When I get home from vacation I think I’ll stop at Victoria’s Secret to smell these. How can I not!?
