4 stars out of 5

Fenty Skin Cherry Dub Superfine Daily Cleansing Face Scrub ($28) is a new exfoliating face scrub that has a cherry jam-like consistency with a formula that contains Barbados cherry, fruit enzymes, and caffeine that gently exfoliates and cleanses skin.

I knew I wanted this as soon as it launched because CHERRY! I feel like the beauty world (particularly the fragrance one) is really lacking in cherry flavored and scented products. We need MORE CHERRY in the beauty world.

Here’s What It Looks Like If You Want to Try Out 16 Shades of Kosas Revealer Concealer

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

As you probably know from my past post Kosas has a Take The Site Home Kit which is $45 and includes a ton of different shades of Kosas products to try out. You can swatch and sample each product out to find out if you like it and if the shade is ideal for you! That $45 you spend is refunded to you via an online credit so once you find the perfect shade and product you can buy the full-size on Kosas’ Website!

If you’re not wanting to spend that much or if you just want to try out a particular product you can purchase sampler cards of certain products as well. I recently decided to spend $8 on one of the two sixteen shade Revealer Concealer Sample Cards. Best $8 I ever spent! I love Revealer Concealer but I’m always blind buying a shade. I already own two shades which I blindly purchased that aren’t quite my ideal match. I was going to indulge in yet another shade recently but instead purchased this sample card. I’m getting my $8 back and I can use it towards a full-size Revealer Concealer wahooo! The card was awesome. It had sixteen of the light and medium shades (there’s a darker shade card as well) and each one is individually packaged in a tiny pod. There’s also a generous size of concealer in each pod! Best part is that I finally found my perfect match.

So, if you want to try out Revealer Concealer this is a great way to get your perfect shade match or to travel with a few shades for mixing and matching.

Enjoy!

E.L.F. Putty Color-Correcting Eye Brightener Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
2 stars out of 5

E.L.F. Cosmetics Putty Color-Correcting Eye Brightener ($6) is a new, affordable under-eye brightener that works to correct the appearance of dark circles while illuminating the under eye area. The formula is infused with squalane and hyaluronic acid to hydrate and plump the eye area and it’s available in six shades. This released a few short weeks after NARS dropped their Light Reflecting Undereye Brightener.

I wear Tarte Shape Tape and I do feel that it leaves no room for correctors. It’s very creamy, very thick, and very pigmented. Wearing corrector under it is just a recipe for overkill in my opinion. Also, I don’t suffer from heavy duty dark circles under my eyes and don’t need much correcting. I use concealer under my eyes to conceal tiredness, puffiness, and finer lines but I don’t have really bad dark circles.

Oddly, I do like peachy color correctors though for more natural, fresher looks. Today I barely put makeup on and was using this as a concealer of sorts under my eyes. I love Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Vanish in Medium. It’s this really nice color correcting peach that brightens up my entire eye area. I don’t bother using anything under my eyes when I use it. Tarte’s Colored Clay CC Undereye Corrector and their new Shape Tape Corrector is kinda nifty too! But again, they aren’t items I use daily nor are they ones I use along with my concealer. These are for days I just want a more natural look.

I wasn’t really sure I needed to try E.L.F. Putty Color-Correcting Eye Brightener because I don’t really like glowy anything under my eyes. I feel like it puts a spotlight on imperfections under my eyes but I decided to add it to my little stash of correctors anyway as it was six bucks so why not?
