I’ve been waiting for a Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush Cream for a long time and maybe I’m finally getting it in the form of the new Tarte Maracuja Juicy Shift Blush for Summer 2023! Tarte Maracuja Juicy Shift Blush are a new four shade custom pH blush that magically changes to a custom shade of blush. These contain maracuja passion fruit and hyaluronic acid that hydrate and provide fresh dewy color to cheeks.

I was a little concerned they’d all look the same like the Maracuja Juicy Shift Lip Balms but I think we’re safe as the shades look different across the board. Shades include:

• Rose
• Honeysuckle
• Big Ego
• Apple

Apple and Honeysuckle should be great for darker skin tones so yay Tarte for finally getting around to releasing some WOC friendly shades. From what I see in the promo images these ARE VERY dewy. Not exactly a user friendly experience if you have oily skin! I’m drier and lately I’m really into this whole dewy, juicy look! Don’t ask me why! I couldn’t tell you! I’m just really into that look lately! I mean, not my entire face but I love a nice dewy blush! It just makes my complexion look so much more awake and brighter.

P.S. You know what would be nice? If Tarte finally gets on board with creating some new shades of Amazonian Clay Blush in some new finishes. I loved these. Always have! Collected them like Pokemon back in the day! But they always lacked shimmer shades ya know? The only shimmer shade in the bunch was Glisten (which YOU need if you don’t already own it). The rest were all very matte or satiny. I always wished they’d revamp the blush collection and so some new finishes. I think old fans of the blush formula would adore that!

There’s a massive buzz across social media since yesterday that Beyoncé is releasing a line of haircare. Yup, Beyoncé Haircare may be a thing very soon and if it isn’t called something like Queen Bee Haircare I don’t want it. I’m kidding. I’ll buy anything this woman wants to sell me including snow in the Summer.

In an Instagram post yesterday, the Queen B herself said: “How many of y’all knew my first job was sweeping hair in my mama’s salon?” while posing in her natural hair in front of a mirror! She added about her mom and her salon, “I watched her heal and be of service to so many women. Having learned so much on my hair journey, I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy…”

Is B telling us she’s ready to get into world of hair care? Maybe! Only time will tell but judging from comments this drop is sold out before it even got created. People are rabid to get their hands on a Beyoncé created and approved hair care collection! I know I’m curious because facts are facts, I’m sure Beyoncé knows a thing or two about getting glamourous looking locks.

That being said, I’m not sure it’s something she’d venture into. Perhaps we’re reading too much into the Instagram post and she’s just celebrating her hardworking hairdresser mom? But I do know one thing even if it never comes out people were ready to throw down hard earned cash for it so maybe Beyoncé needs to consider it if she wasn’t already! P.S. If you’re reading this Beyoncé, I wouldn’t mind some a body and skincare collection as well! Thanks!

Ok, so not a lot gets me excited in the makeup world lately but Lawless Watermelon Summer 2023 Collection has me excited. I mean, I think we can all agree that makeup can be repetitive lately and we probably have every shade known to man at this point.
