Ok, get the money out because Charlotte Tilbury Pinkgasm Sunset Beauty Light Wand launched and it probably won’t stay in stock long. I ordered it and I regret nothing because lord, it looks like a unique shade.

Pinkgasm Sunset was created with darker skin tones in mind and is inspired by the original Pinkgasm shade. This is a new, radiant rose pink that’s incredibly vibrant in promotional images! If it looks as good on my skin as it does on the model’s skin I’ll be a happy girl! I know, I know, I know! It’s expensive at $42 and E.L.F. Halo Glow Blush Beauty Wands are the new It Girl dupe but honestly, I have both the E.L.F. and CT version and I’ll readily admit I get WAY more of a glow from Charlotte’s formula. Please forgive me. I liked the E.L.F. version but I didn’t love it the way I did Charlotte’s version. I think the glow factor is way more amped up on Light Wands versus Halo Blush Wands. Sorry!

I’m definitely seeing that sunkissed, I stayed in the sun for a little bit glow going on with this shade! It looks great on both darker and fairer tones from what I see in the marketing. This formula is creamy and easy to blend as well with tons of pigment so although, the tubes are smaller you’ll get a lot of bang from them thanks to the color pay off you get. In this economy, I’m sure no one is ready for a $42 blush splurge but if you do have the money I’d def grab Pinkgasm Sunset. The shade is very unique and different. It looks perfect for hot Summer days (and nights too). I also think it won’t stay in stock long. The Light Wands sold out for a while when they went viral on Tiktok and this shade is probably going to be the same once Tiktokers start reviewing it.

Winxy Lux Sunset Glow Ombre Blush ($20) is a matte, shimmer, and satin ombre blended blush that acts as both a blush and highlighter in one swipe. I love ombre blushes I think that love dates back to when MAC launched their gorgeous Ombre Blush Collection! Also, a lot of the Ombre Blushes we see nowadays make it so easy to get a blush and a glow in one step which is something I don’t excel at. What I mean to say is I can apply blush fine (sort of! sometimes I go overboard!) but I don’t always do a great job with highlighter! I tend to be pretty heavy-handed with highlighter or I place it in the wrong area. I have chubby cheeks and I feel like I don’t have that sharp cheek bone angle all the influencers do that apply highlighter with a quick flick of a brush. I always end up looking a discoball after application! These ombre blushes are a quick swirl and done for a gorgeous glow that looks like a pro applied it. Sadly, my selfie in this review doesn’t do this product justice as the pretty golden sheen finish isn’t very easy to see in my photo. But I promise it’s there!
Let’s take a look!

This one time Hot Topic released a Supernatural Jacket. It was NOT all that but at that point in my life it WAS ALL THAT. Ya know what I mean? You ever purchase some article of clothing or even a makeup item and it’s something you REALLY, REALLY need but years later you’re looking in your closet (or through that makeup graveyard you have) and think, “Why did I buy this?”
I can’t remember for the life of me what the jacket looked like but I remember actively loading up Hot Topic every single day for a year in hopes it would come back in stock. Seriously, I bet if I remembered the name of the jacket it’s still hanging out as an “out of stock” item at Hot Topic. I do remember one thing, it was grossly overacted and I was just being a Winchester fangirl and having a bad, bad case of FOMO.
Needless to say, it’s happening again and currently it’s because I wasn’t able to grab the Strawberry Shortcake Gingham Basket Crossbody Bag. Do I need this bag? Absolutely not. I have hundreds of purses especially novelty purses which are my specialty. Do I want this bag? Oh my god a thousand times yes! Guys, it’s Strawberry freaking Shortcake. Come on! And it’s cute as hell. But as with most Hot Topic bags it’s probably completely shoddy material. I mean, the few reviews that are live aren’t promising. Maybe I dodged a bullet that it sold out.

Jones Road Tinted Face Powder ($28) just launched and it’s giving MAC old Loose Powder and I’m here for that. Who remembers when MAC had Loose Face Powders like these? And yes, Bobbi did too (and hey Jones Road being her company makes sense for a re-launch yes?). This is one more item I’ll need to add to my Jones Road list of tries. This is a new color correcting powder available in eight shade selections. This formula has a finely milled texture with a lightweight finish. Added plus, no talc! It’s made with a corn starch base!
Shades:
I don’t really use powder all that much on my face! I’m more a set my undereye concealer kind of girl when it comes to powder but don’t use it on my face. I already have an HG setting powder for that need but I’ll happily try out anything Bobbi Brown does! This might be a nice one to try in conjunction with her What the Foundation!
