It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Bags Takes On Puffy Eyes Without Surgery

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Bags is a new daytime treatment that acts to reduce the appearance of puffy eyes in 15 minutes without surgery! This new cream is a lot like the Peter Thomas Roth Instant FirmX Eye Tightener that went viral last year as well as the Il Makiage Power Rewinder Anti-Aging Flash Firming & Depuffing Eye Treatment that I’m sure you’ve seen dozens of commercials about across the Internet.

Heads up! This is now on sale at ulta.com! Use code BOPIS2023 to purchase online at ulta.com and pick up in store. The code gets you 20% Off! Enjoy!

Did you know eye bags are hereditary? That means there’s really no miracle eye cream that will help the issue! However, products like It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Bags can help but the problem is they can be a chore to apply and they can be challenging to use with makeup. Or at least that’s been the case in the past but apparently It Cosmetics has somehow mastered this formula.

According to It Cosmetics this new treatment provides a flexible hold that goes to work in 15 minutes and temporarily fixes the appearance of puffy, baggy eyes. It acts to create an adhesive film over the skin that compresses your bags. But unlike other treatments of its kind, it has an elastic-like formula that allows you to still move your eyes, smile, etc..without the adhesive cracking or pulling. It provides a filter-like finish making bags look considerably less puffy and the under-eye area smoother.

It Cosmetics says it’ll even work when worn under makeup (or alone if you like) which again, has been an issue with past formulas such as Peter Thomas Roth’s formula which tends to pill and crack when concealer or other makeup is worn over it. The elastic-like texture allows you to easily apply makeup without the adhesive cracking or creasing.

The vegan formula should be applied on dry skin and apparently, it can be applied over eye cream but you need to wait for that to dry down before applying this. Now apply a pea-size amount under your eyes and just smooth it on (don’t pat just glide across your under-eye area with your skin). Relax your face as you apply and don’t squint, smile, or move your eye area around as this needs 15 minutes to set and dry down fully. Done! Now you can apply makeup!

Does it work? Good question! I’m going to try it and see. I personally suffer from puffiness and outright bags if I’m working on a few hours of sleep. I’m a little skeptical about it working under makeup though! I imagine concealer, especially thicker concealer, might not apply well over this. But most importantly, waiting 15 minutes can be challenging especially if you don’t have that much time to spare in the morning.

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye  Bags is available now for $40 (considerably higher priced compared to the Peter Thomas Roth version at $24).

I’ll review it soon! What do you think of this product?

Tarte Shape Tape Corrector Review & Swatches

Tarte Shape Tape Corrector ($30) is a new color-correcting concealer that can be used under the eyes or on the face that’s available in nine shade selections. I don’t really have major dark circles which means I’m really guilty of picking up the peach shade just to brighten up my eye area and to use as sort of a lightweight weekend concealer. And guess what? It worked great just like that but at this price, I really didn’t need to indulge.
