Sheglam Jelly Wow Hydrating Lip Oil Review & Swatches
I recently picked up two shades of Sheglam Jelly Wow Hydrating Lip Oil and it was the best under $8 beauty pick I’ve done in a while. These are such a cheap little beauty thrill that you totally need to snatch up if you haven’t already!
I don’t really love lip oils because technically, most of the formulas aren’t lip oil at all but lipgloss! Sadly, I’m here to tell you Sheglam Jelly Wow Hydrating Lip Oil isn’t really an oil! That being said, it’s still a very nice moisturizing treat for your lips! I picked up two of these a few weeks ago for under $8! They typically cost $3.99 each but I had some sort of coupon or another so I snagged them for around $3 bucks each! Totally a score. Do I need more flavors? Probably not as they all apply clear! Do I want more? Yes, I do.
These come in chubby little clear barrels that resemble the old Milani Lip Oils. They have a large applicator that saturates very well with the lip oil or lipgloss as I’m calling it. NYX Fat Oil Lip Drip Vegan Lip Oil can learn something from this applicator. This formula apparently contains strawberry extract, hyaluronic acid and squalane!
I got Loco for Coco and Berry Involved one of which is clear and the other has a pink tint. Both applied transparently on my lips with absolutely no color. They each had a light flavor and fragrance that I found very pleasant. I do think they resemble more lipgloss than oil with a super shiny finish that works alone or over your favorite lipstick. These are a fantastic little travel item if you aren’t one to reapply lipgloss or lipstick throughout the day but still want your lips to look glossy plus keep them moist and hydrated.
The formula does feel jelly-like but spreads evenly without being tacky or sticky. They do wear for a shorter time which makes touching up a necessary evil but I honestly don’t mind since I tend to apply and re-apply balms and treatments like this often through the day to keep my lips moist. I love how comfortable they are not to mention they keep my dry lips lightly hydrated and super shiny.
All in all, Sheglam Jelly Wow Hydrating Lip Oil is a fab little budget pick-up if you like shiny, hydrating lip products!
